Having previously visited and indeed having found some of the curries overly sweetened, on the second visit I was able to calibrate and fine tune the ordering.I would suggest ordering the more authentic flavours, such as, dopiaza, korai or puri.The fact that one can chose a plant based protein is a nice addition.They run a special offer deal on Sundays.

Had a great time at Vegan India. The staff were friendly & attentive. The food was lovely, and it was so nice to be able to have so much choice! We went for papadams with dip selection to start. Then we shared a vegetable passanda, mango vegan lamb, garlic naan, keema naan, and vegetable rice. Would recommend for vegans and non vegans alike! Will bring family & friends in the future.

Very underrated place. The food is lovely even if you’re not vegan. I had some amazing food for a decent price. If you’re a vegan - the meat alternatives are made really well and have an amazing flavour. Can’t say much about the atmosphere as we were the o my table there - probably due to a heat wave so can’t blame anyone other than the weather. When I asked for a description about the food the waiter couldn’t really tell me much about it other than what it was already written in the menu so it was hard for me to know what I was ordering as ‘special Indian spices’ can be absolutely anything - however it was very nice anyway.

Have been visiting Bristol for a couple of days and really chuffed to find an Indian that is 100% Vegan. Booked for the 2 of us. The place is clean and nicely done out. Service was friendly and polite. Superb choices on the menu. The food was amazing and just how I remember a decent curry to taste. Feel to scared to have a vegan option from a place that cooks with meat as well so this was a real treat. If only we could have one of these in Brighton. Will defo come back as and when we return to Bristol. Thanks for a great meal.

How amazing to have an all vegan Indian restaurant! We knew we had to visit while on a mini break in Bristol and it did not disappoint! We got the butter chickn, chickn korma with mushroom rice and garlic naan bread. Generous portion sizes, an absolutely delicious and satisfying meal. If you're ever in Bristol, you must visit!

Great food, lovely service. Lots of choice. We thought the fake lamb was great.Shame the bathrooms are really tatty and quite grubby but everything else was spot on!

As a non-vegan, this was a wonderful meal out. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. It really felt like they cared about providing good service/keeping high standards. Myself and my date got a small starter, 3 curries, 2 breads (generous helpings), 2 plates of rice and some mango lassis (absolutely worth trying if you go) for only £55 and we think it was all made fresh as well. Will definitely be going again soon!

We had this to take away and the food was still incredible and even presented really well in the takeaway tubs. The staff were very friendly upon collecting it and it was a very swift and easy transaction. I’m not vegan and usually I’m reluctant to try vegan imitation meat as sometimes the textures can be strange, however, this was not the case here. I tried the vegan chicken and vegan lamb; both were absolutely delicious and the textures perfect - I was really impressed. As well as that, I think the food is a really good price. I’m happy that as a student I can still afford to eat at a great place like this where the food is amazing. I will be returning 100%.
