I dealt with Paddy in Slevins for suits for my groomsmen recently. I can’t recommend Slevins highly enough for their formal wear and customer service. Paddy couldn’t do enough for us with clear, reliable turnaround times for any alterations and suit deliveries. Anything they didn’t have in stock, they ordered in to try on within a few days. The communication was top class as was the quality of the suits, shirts and shoes. Excellent all round

Slevins Department Store
When you're heading to Sligo or Donegal town we often drive past Ballyshannon on the by-pass and think about stopping in other restaurants or Cafes however a lot of them near Sligo are closed on a Monday so try coming off the by-pass and stopping at Slevins Department Store which has a lovely upstairs cafe spacious and with a good variety of food on its menu and very friendly staff a very relaxing place to visit

Went in for two coffees and two sandwiches,€24.It was a bit expensive but food was ok and parking is free.Problem is,, although there's a lot of good cafes in ballyshannon,,there's no parking,so restricted.

Was looking for a dress yesterday, we visited Slevins department store as they usually never fail. Yesterday stood out because of the shop assistant unfortunately I didn't get her name, she was so helpful and picked a totally different dress for me to try, to say it was perfect. One very happy customer.

Normally go for lunch great food brilliant service and reasonably priced too . Sometimes I Hornton the Chinaware Section where they have a great selection and kitchen Utensils aswell .

Fantastic service. Heard they sold Caprice boots (I have skinny legs & they do slim boots) and decided to pay a visit. Such wonderful, helpful staff - the lady who sold me the boots couldn't have been any nicer. All the staff we met were friendly and were proud of their store. I was very impressed & will visit again!

Always great for a browse. Shoe department excellent. Always get a bargain. Fantastic range of shoes and bags. Ladies wear also excellent if a bit pricey. Staff lovely. Friendly and helpful. Tell you the truth. Do a brilliant rate on sterling. Cash only.

Visited this store for the first time today whilst on holiday. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they made it a lovely experience and i can honestly say i normally hate shopping for clothes. I was spoilt for choice in the ladies wear department and came away with 3 gorgeous dresses, nothing like the usual highstreet. My only disappointment is the fact they’re not available to buy on line and i live in the uk. I can’t wait to get home and wear my new dresses. Thank you, and thank you to the lovely staff.

Tea room is a great spot for excellent food. Some nice home decor as well.
