Asda Donnington Wood Superstore

The usual couldn't care less attitude reached a new low tonight. Purchased a multi buy offer and discount wasn't applied at the self service checkout. Told assistant. I had to go back to the shelf and get the shelf edge labels to show the incorrect pricing. She then corrected the prices but offered no explanation, apology or any further action she would take. She walked away leaving the shelf edge labels. I asked if she needed them to show a manager so they could be corrected. no" she replied to which I said " but surely you are going to need these to get the problem rectified?"." Not my job

Shocking service at the customer services' desk today which is now in the kiosk section where cigarettes are sold now which by the way looks an absolute mess! Waste of time queuing just to be told by a really unhappy and miserable staff member they'd taken her computer away so she couldn't check on the stock of an item. She said I'd have to find someone in store with a handheld device to check. No apology, no offer to get someone to go and check if the item was available! She was really dismissive, rude and unhelpful.Toilets are pretty grim too, unsure if a leak or whether urine all around the base of toilet!Finally, please don't respond with your 'thanks for reaching out .....' bulk standard response which is just so fake. Nothing will improve.

Disgraceful behaviour from a middle aged, short blonde lady that was working at the customer service desk/tobacco kiosk today when my wife asked for information about the products for sale. This member of staff raised here voice and informed my wife that She does not smoke

You don’t expect to get attacked when you go shopping after a busy 12 hour shift at work. I was physically assaulted at the pharmacy on 14/11/23 by a very angry man in the queue. I was so shocked I didn’t finish my shopping and just paid and left. I will never be going back to this store again.

Oh dear yet again this store has gone from being great to poor. Made an online purchase last night the purchase did not link to my rewards app so the £10 credit I should have received wasn't added and I therefore would need to go into the store to sortThen this morning the beer I ordered was substituted to another I don't like, so cancelled the whole order with a phone call 3 hours later still no notification of order being cancelled and refund process being started.So then I go into the store as I still needed some the original order, to my surprise the beer was in stock only problem was that it was right at the back of a low shelf and awkward to reach! So whoever picked order 5152389001054 needs to be told to do their job properly!I have been going to this store for nearly 13 years most of the 'old staff' are still great but I find the pickers particularly rude blocking the aisles and not helpful. Stock levels are getting worse, good job I live 5 minutes away by car as I can pop in for the items I can't get another day. Pointless going in after 3pm as nothing on shelves. I go here for the rewards and convenience, if there was a nearer competitor nearby I would shop there, so yes you still have my loyal custom however maybe not for much longer!I use the petrol station and kiosk too for lottery my average monthly spend is in excess of £500 maybe with coming of a New Year then change my shopping habits!!

Pizza counter is hardly open on a Friday night or a Saturday … used to go regular. And every time we have been at 5pm or 6pm it’s closed so we end up going to Morrisons because they are open later. Disappointing really and the pizza counter staff are rude and look like they do not care.

Never particularly liked the store though tonight plumbed new depths. Visited at around 1730. No stock! No checkouts manned so everyone using the trolley self checkout. There was a guy in front of us with a pack of toilet roll and a basket of shopping. Yes you can argue that he was in the wrong queue, however when he offered to only take the toilet roll, he was still somewhat dogmatically sent to the back of the basket only line with repeated pointing to the trolley sign above him!! Who is the customer! The use of self checkouts is Asda's decision to reduce cost,regardless of their mewling! While this does promote choice, it certainly shouldn't be at the cost of service! It really wasn't good and I plan not to shop there again or to be frank, in any other of the brands stores as I'm sure the policies and attitude to valuing customers in endemic.

Lack of staff on tills every weekday morning so everybody is stacked back down the Isles in a queue you end up spending more time waiting to be served than it takes to collect your shopping.

Terrible customer service. The past couple week we have encountered a rude staff member who always avoids me and my son when at the self checkouts. So today I finally call her up on it and asked for a manager called Lee. Lee was very understanding and told us that we wasn’t the first people to complain. And he gave us a number to call the other manager Nick. So I did for nick to deny it all and claims his staff doesn’t do what we describe so now I will be taking this matter higher and to head office.

Asda, its very simply, I just want to spend my hard earnt cash with you, and take advantage of your great 25% off wines offer and stock up for Xmas.Unfortunately, the guy that stacks the shelves in the alcohol department at the Donnington branch is off sick, and according to management, nobody else is spare to replace him, resulting in a lack of available wine being placed on the shelves.Asda please get your act together, it's been 3 weeks now, and each week the shelves are just empty.
