Ben Heasman Photography

Wonderful experience! Ben came to take photos of my son & me recently. I'm so over the moon with the process that I couldn't even wait to see the photos to leave a review! My son instantly adored Ben with his charming, easy manner and attentive attitude to my son's interests. It was an absolute pleasure to be photographed and I know the photos will reflect the wonderful time we had!Edited to add: I have just received the photos and they are, as anticipated, amazing. Show my son and our relationship exactly as it is. They are the perfect mix of the documentary style I love and the fine art slightly more obscure fine art photos that I hadn't realised I so desperately wanted.Highly recommend!

Ben has such a great eye and he is really good with kids. He gets to their level and loves to interact with them. My kids loved the whole session and so did we.

My wife and I have previously shelled out thousands of pounds to so called professionals but never quite got what we wanted until Ben. For a fraction of the price that even the cheapest previous photographer we went with gave us Ben has outshone them by miles. His emphasis on real-life images is something that I have longed for in photos but did not know how to explain or accomplish. I was / am so very bored of the typical staged photos that do not really illustrate anything real. Ben has achieved this long yearned for goal. Ben has managed to capture who we are as family and what we are about. We are so grateful to Ben for photographing and capturing the memories of our family session. We're going to treasure these photos and the memories they bring back forever. We had never hired a professional photographer before and Ben made us feel so at ease which meant we could be ourselves in front of him. This meant that he really captured what our family is like, and all the silliness and love we have for each other, and I wasn't sure that would ever be captured. We absolutely adore the photos (which made us laugh and cry). We feel so lucky to have seen our family the way Ben saw us. He managed to completely capture the essence of our family. He has a very special and unique way of seeing things which really comes through in his work. Thank you Ben.

Ben is such an amazing photographer! He is actually an artist! His pictures are by far the best family pictures we have had taken!Ben was with us for about an hour and we just had a family time together as we always do, and Ben managed to get the most amazing pictures without us even realizing how and when he took the shots!
