George Brooker House

Lovely home for the residents.the staff are fantastic with them, doing different activities and providing them with love and care like they were their own family.

Ever since I started working for George Brooker House, I have had the feeling that I am part of a team like a family. Even now after 8 months, the workplace remains a place where I feel happy, safe and understood. Through the experience and professionalism of the managers, the house is a place where people are respected, understood, accepted and helped. A fantastic team of staff and carers who work day and night to provide the best service and who are proud to say that I am part of it. Thank you.

Disgusting professionalism from the manager and deputy manager! My Mrs started work here and it was all good at first for the few months she was there. She had a day shift booked yet when she turnt up for work her shift had already been cancelled (without any notice). Then she was cornered for a disciplinary (without the accustomed 24-hour notice that a disciplinary was to take place) on her own without any advice that she was allowed a witness or time to take any advice for the disciplinary. She was sacked on the spot without being presented any evidence as to what she did wrong and was told she would be emailed the reasons why. Disgusting behaviour which has understandably left my Mrs very upset and emotional. Also there was many emails from the deputy Sarah during her time there speaking in disgusting tone which was highly condescending and rude!

Beautiful place and care is excellent

Truly a great home for the residents. The staff are friendly and have a person centred approach.There are all different types of activities going on which they love. The catering staff are fantastic.

A lovely residential home that I am proud to work for. Through feedback I am able to tell you that the care staff are so friendly and welcoming. We are the type of home that has the motto of 'what you see is what you will get'. There are no airs and graces, we are a bunch of predominantly Dagenham girls who love what we do. We care for our residents & their families as if they were our own!
