Sharpe Architecture

Not a great experience. Sent two small but certainly exciting projects after spending time finding links to forward at her request. She replied with a two liner reply of can’t do these as quite far but more like could not take the challenge and after asking her to look at more local one she responded with quite frankly pointless advice and then minutes later was upset with my review which to be fair was only right as that is the reason we have them and I am quite frankly getting annoyed with unprofessionals who behave this way. Totally your wish to talk they simply don’t like a challenge which says a lot.Update I deeply disappointed that FRANCES SHARPE has responded in such a negative way and suddenly got some 5 stars to bring up the rating which is great if they are genuine but all I did was post some facts and nothing else. I merely asked her to have a look at some projects. I am so glad that I did not have to work with her as at first she has scope in October and then suddenly it was new year, I can see being let down in a big way hopefully this will be the end of updates and no childish responses

We were struggling with plans to extend our bungalow and went to Sharpe Architecture with only a rough plan. Not only did they complete a design based around our ideas, they also explained potential issues we may have regarding planning and our budget. They then came up with a whole new design that solved all of the problems we were encountering but still took the time to discuss the pros and cons of both sets of plans. Everything was dealt with quickly and with care and we were kept updated throughout the process. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sharpe Architecture and will most likely be approaching them again for work at our new property.

I'm very happy with the work of Sharpe Architecture. Frances saw our project through from concept, detailed design, construction to completion. Built a good working relationship with the main builder but also pushed back when construction was not as planned or expected. She also maintained the integrity of the initial design even though changes were necessarily made as we came upon unforeseen issues. Overall 10/10.

There were challenges, being in a conservation area but Frances put together excellent proposals and handled a successful planning application. I have used Sharpe Architecture on a couple of projects, Frances is a knowledgeable architect who can see potential and find solutions which other architects struggle on. Being reliable, friendly and professional makes Frances easy to work with. I will definitely recommended and WILL work with Sharpe Architecture on my next project.

Frances took my initial ideas for a kitchen and garden redesign and transformed the spaces with clever use of levels and a warm and sophisticated colour/material palette. Frances is very professional, personable, creative and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to my aspirations and her work exceeded my expectations. I have gone back to Sharpe Architecture for a feasibility study, listed building consent and heritage statement as well as interior design proposals. I highly recommend Sharpe Architecture.

RE: Rusthall RefurbishmentWe are thrilled with our new kitchen/diner snug, which is all thanks to Sharpe Architecture. Fran helped us at the building design stage, coming up with some excellent ideas to create clean lines and improve light in our north- facing space. She produced plans and a specification, helped us select our builder by reviewing quotes, arranged structural engineer input, obtained building regulation approval and provided an invaluable design brief on which we were able to build. She listened carefully to what we wanted and showed great flexibility and patience in the face of our lack of experience and indecision ! She was a pleasure to work with and comes very highly recommended.
