Absolutely gobsmacked at the unnecessarily rude 'service' at this shop today. The woman serving basically shouted at us for using Collect Plus and told us never to use it again.Apparently, the parcels delivered for us were too big, too heavy and had completely inconvenienced her and ruined her life. They were not too big, or too heavy, but neither had she stored them securely. They were just on the shop floor where she pointed for us to pick them up ourselves and bring them over to her at the counter.She then seemed to think we should magically know which barcode in the email went with which box. Um, I don't know. I didn't pack them. Why don't you use that scanner you're holding to find out?After collecting and lifting the boxes ourselves, (they were really not very big or heavy and had handles to make lifting easy) we stepped aside to wait for regular corner shop customers to buy their newspapers, and whatever else.During this time, she continued blustering about how much we had inconvenienced her and how she had done us a flavour taking them, we'd picked the worst possible time to collect, and we'd better not do this again. I was happy to let others go ahead and, in fact, was the one inviting them to so. I am a generally polite and considerate person. Your customers thanked me for letting them go ahead of me. It's a shame you didn't display the same basic courtesy as your customers did, but rather embarrassed them and yourself by making a scene over nothing.To add insult to injury, I had paid extra to use Collect Plus when delivery would have been free, because I thought it would be more convenient. How wrong I was. If you can't - or don't want to - honour the Collect Plus service, you should not offer it. There is no point having a go at the customers who have unwittingly paid for this 'service'.I still can't believe it. I feel like I have had an unpleasant out of body experience and was charged for the privilege._____Wish I'd read the reviews about the collection point here first. Seems we're not the first to encounter problems.

They repeatedly refuse to take CollectPlus packages, large or small. Avoid.

Terrible!! what a rude nasty women. Refused to scan my parcel and said it wouldn’t scan. How would you know if you didn’t try?Yodel will be contacted about this as she is turning away business, and this not the first time she has done it to me and judging by the reviews is also doing it to others.I bet she’s not go a problem with the commission from it though.Vile and rude and I will never step foot in that shop again. Avoid, do not go in the shop. Not even 1 star but can’t post a zero

Very friendly little corner shop, carries all the little things you need.The bread is very fresh and always seems to last longer than the same bought from the supermarket.

Worst shop I have ever been to.It is badly laid out.Not much choice.My last experience of visiting is below;I walked in and the shopkeeper refused to look at me until I asked for assistance. She was very rude and abrupt. It got worse when she found out why I was there.I had ordered 4 boxes through Collect+ and when she found out this she turned even nastier. She kept on telling me never to come back and I will be more than happy to never visit the store again.While I was waiting and suffering abuse I also noticed other customers having bad service so I can only assume from my experience that she is always like this.Do yourself a favour and avoid this shop

Excellent service. Really nice people who keep the shop ,very obliging nothing too much trouble for them.

3 separate times I've used this for a collection point, 3 separate times I've had to go back on more than one occasion due to some error their end with scanning.The parcels have been there, I've seen them, but I've not been able to collect them.Sadly, inept
