York Marina

Hired a boat from here on the 6th September for the day highly recommended it was fantastic couldn't fault a thing and staff was lovely what fantastic weather we had too what made a difference

A lovely place to stop & look out at the marina whilst enjoying excellent food. Staff are friendly & service is fast. Highly recommend.

Delicious brunch and a stunning location. Sit watching the river in the new conservatory and enjoy the food.Not the cheapest and automatically adds service charge which annoys. I’m happy to tip when appropriate but having it automatically added is not right.

We love staying at York marina beautiful site, very clean and the water front cafe is amazing and nice walk to the village along the old railway path we’re there is a couple of pubs the woodman serves lovely homemade food worth a walk, also a bakery, chip shop, coop & butchers in the village, look forward to our next stay

Very nice Caravan site, reasonably priced right on the Riverside overlooking the Marina, with beautiful views. The site is spotless with large serviced pitches and excellent shower facilities with fob entry. (£20 returnable deposit for the fob) Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also there is a beautiful restaurant on site. We have only had drinks there, but the food looks lovely and reasonably priced. There is a great cycle route into York or Selby and the bus into York stops just a few yards from the site. Last time we had a Taxi back which cost us £10 so not too bad. There is a great pub in walking distance too. We would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent facilities. Pitches are good and the toilets are immaculate. Fantastic views of the boats on the river coming and going. Booking in was very easy and the barrier made it very secure.There is a licensed cafe on site which we wanted to try but when I looked at the menu and spied £6.50 for a pint I decided not to bother. I don't know who they are aiming to attract into the cafe but it certainly isn't caravanners!The website is misleading, showing tables outside the cafe along the river. Despite saying that work is STILL ongoing these pictures should be removedWe are planning to return again to the caravan park next year.

Had our Christmas lunch today at the recently extended Marina. The extension is fantastic with great workmanship. The food was absolutely wonderful with brilliant service. We had a wonderful time.

Absolutely stunning site. Facilities 5⭐️ generous size pitches. Stunning views of the river and passing boats. Extremely calming environment. The waterfront restaurant is outstanding. The food is exceptional and front of house staff are very attentive. Location is spot on. 40 mins walk to York designer outlet. Bus stop outside the site to take you into York. Cycle route to take you into York too which is also ideal for a lovely walk. This has everything you require for a fantastic stay. Boat hire too! My personal opinion is, it’s not suitable for children, but that’s just my thoughts. I have been coming here since approximately 2013 I think and have seen it evolve into this special place. Thank you York Marina, hats off to you, you’ve got it spot on!

We had a wonderful stay at York Marina. Waking up each morning to a view of the river was magical. The facilities are really good and it was great to have the option to eat in the Waterfront restaurant. The Designer outlet centre was an easy walk away and the taxi boat into York was something we definitely do again.

We stayed here last week in our Motorhome and the site is brilliant, the food was excellent both for breakfast and lunch. Very clean site and all the staff were helpful and always had time to chat.
