I was adopted through St.Margaret's. I returned to the organisation to search for my birth parents. Upon searching for my father, who initially denied responsibility, St.Margaret's ended the search and refused to take it any further. Subsequent DNA analysis proved he was my father.A couple of years later my natural sister approached St.Margaret's to try and get in contact with me. St.Margaret's lied to my sister and said they couldn't contact me. It took over twenty to locate my full family history thanks to this lie, and the opportunity to meet my birth father was lost.St.Margaret's removed my review from their own Facebook site because they don't want people to find out the truth about Adoption. Censorship is favoured over transparency.Adoption Trauma lives with the Adoptees throughout their life. The most important person in an adoption is the Adoptee, not the Adopter. St.Margaret's would do well to start understanding this.
