I originally was going to use the Co-Op for historical reasons but enquired of Worley as the care home where dad was a resident had an arrangement with them. From the initial contact with Pam, I knew that I would use them as and when dad passed away. The response was courteous, sympathetic, unhurried and never pushy. All my questions were answered including a detailed breakdown of costs. I was pleasantly surprised at the costings too.I am very pleased that I did use them as the same experience was felt right up to the day of dad's funeral which happened quicker than expected. Nothing was too much trouble or inconvenience. Professional throughout but predominantly caring throughout. Thanks again Pam and to all your colleagues for your very kind assistance and service. Highly recommended!

I can't thank Doc enough. The way he collected my late mum's body, from her home. Truly amazing, his care and consideration, its clear to me that this is more than his job.Thank you so much from Ben Hughes ( son of Daphne Hughes).I know my mum is in excellent caring hands.

Sadly I have used J Worley Hemel Hempstead twice this year for my father and my aunt, they were very professional very friendly and everything went like clock work, I would highly recommend them.

Went to funeral of sister in law Pat on 23 May this year. Had a humanist to do service suggested by worleys. Don't bother. Waste of time. Got many things wrong. insult to memory.

Helped us arrange my late father's funeral. Very professional, made it as painless as it possibly could be. Simon Allen, the humanist celebrant they suggested, was also absolutely brilliant.

As a family we felt very let down by j. Worley’s from start to finish. Our grandad passed away in April and had prepaid for his funeral.Firstly my mum wanted to visit my grandad in the chapel of rest, but his coffin took so long to be ordered and delivered that she missed out on this opportunity as it was too late, as he had been passed for over 4 weeks.The time organisation was lapse, leading them to call my mum on the morning of her dad’s funeral to change their arrival time. Meaning my mum had to call around all the family who were going to follow the hurst. Then when they arrived the flowers were all in the wrong place despite leaving instructions with the florist and Jworley. When I addressed this the bearer did move them but placed everything laying down so his beautiful flowers and memorial photo were not on display in the hurst.On the way to the wake the driver wanted to drop us off at the side of the road, rather than driving into the venue giving us the impression he was in a rush to get somewhere.Unfortunately it didn’t stop there as we waited nearly 3 months for his ashes to be ready. When we range to chase this up we were told we would get a call back but never did. It took us to call repeatedly to be able to get them. Then when they arrived at the graveside with his ashes the urn wasn’t the one we had ordered!On the whole the experience would definitely put us off using the company again, they unfortunately made an already hard time even harder. We wouldn’t recommend.
