Wife and I stopped here in a Glamping Pod last week, she booked for my birthday. We normally camp so a pod was a new experience for us bothSite was very nice and pods excellent! The staff were great on arrival and throughout our stay and even remembered details from the booking phone call. The toilet/shower block was immaculateWe stopped on a Wednesday but didn't realise the pub and restaurant in the village open Thurs-Sun, not an issue, we had a great lunch at the Old Tithe Barn in Garstang and our tea in Lancaster Centre, which is surprisingly close! Will definitely stop again in the tent, lots of electric hookups if you don't like roughing it.

Absolutely loved this campsite. Penny ( the owner) welcomes you and is just lovely! The pitches are very large and facilities spotless. There is an amazing river walk just off the site and you are also 5 minutes walk from an good pub. The site is peaceful and we had a super relaxing stay. Will certainly be back!

Large flat field with many pitches. Shower and toilets are quite a walk out of the site, past the owners house. Access to which is by digital lock. There are no local shops and the only pub doesn't open until Wednesday each week.

Kind and welcoming staff, a nice level field with electric hook up, Elsan waste, clean tap water, recycling bins and a shower block. Fresh eggs and jam are sold by the owner. There are 2 glamping pods, a few well kept static caravans and room for 20 or more campers. Thus site has good conservation with blocked off areas for wildlife. They keep chickens which freely roam around the site. No traffic can be heard and apart from the odd microlight, it's a world away from any hustle and bustle.

Excellent small quiet site. It's a large field with space for about 15 pitches. Good for tents. An eco-friendly site with a nice washing block and free range chickens! Lovely hosts. Thank you.

Wonderfully quiet, well kept grounds. Superb pitches ,firm ground when we stayed, hot and sunny. A hidden gem.Chickens roam free, jams and eggs when available are for sale, made at home.Would I return yes....... definitely

Nice site. Well maintained grass area with electrical hook-up. Toilet block was well maintained and clean. There is only one shower each for male and female (2 total). This wasn't a problem most days as others used at different times, but did mean I had to wait for the shower on one day.The site has a quiet policy for evenings. Includes one field designated for ball play, but otherwise no child play area (not a problem for us).Short walk from a pub / restaurant (Grapes) which was nice and a 10 minute drive from town with good shops and takeaways.Good for travelling to Blackpool (approx. 30 minutes drive). We used it to travel into Blackpool most days.We were not told at booking about the arrival time (2pm or later). I think the owner forgot to mention on confirmation; we arrived early, she was accommodating just asking to finish her lunch first but instead we went to buy our own lunch and then went back at 2pm.I recommend this site.
