Very disappointing experience. I had a leak in my shower and had home emergency cover. The company (not D & S) came and stopped the leak (only had preventative cover).I called D and S explaining this and asked for a quote. Sam wasn't sure if the shower could be accessed from the below bathroom and asked if he could remove the extractor as it would be cheaper to do it this way. I also had a running toilet and asked for a quote for this. He took the panel off and explained that it needed new rods.I asked for a price multiple times and eventually he text me a quote for £360 which was very expensive. When I said I would get a couple more quotes to compare theirs to he sent me an invoice for £130 for doing the quote. At no point did they say I was being charged for the quote.In the end the other plumber fixed the shower for 120, with no drama.I explained this but wasn't listened to.I have never had this experience with any other trades person and I have had lots of work done.I will not be using this company again.
