Anne Marie hair salon is brilliant. I can not recommend them enough. Emma always does my hair to a very high standard. All of hair dressers are friendly, welcoming and professional.

What an amazing place! We persuaded our 86 year old mum to come and have a colour cut wash and set after not stepping into a hairdressers for many many years and I cannot thank Isla enough for taking the time and patience to make a frail elderly but still feisty Lady so very very welcome and comfortable. Isla listened to all that our mum wanted and……and didn’t! And delivered! Her hair looks so healthy now, shiny and beautiful. Not only has she made our mum happy but us too. You are all superstars and I cannot recommend your salon highly enough. The care, and attention and above all the kindness you showed is second to none! Not to mention your fantastic hair dressing skills and knowledge. Amazing :)

Arrived to the hair salon (my first time going) and it’s certainly not accessible to those with mobility issues. My mum uses a walker and really struggled to go up the stairs. Had we known about this before we would have gone elsewhere. We got to the top of the stairs and walked through to the salon, which was a decent size and did look clean. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our appointment and neither of us was offered a drink. After waiting nearly an hour we eventually had my appointment. The hairdresser was really nice and even though she cut my hair well, she cut it a lot shorter than I asked. We still weren’t offered a drink, whereas other customers were. One of the hairdressers kept looking at me, rolling her eyes which really put me off and made me feel on edge and uncomfortable. Once the appointment was finished we went to pay and was told “we don’t accept card so we had to go into the town to the cash point machine”. The customer before us also had this problem. There should be a sign on the door saying this, especially for first time people going to the salon. We ended up paying over bank transfer which was a lot easier. As we were leaving, we took our time going down the stairs due to the area being dark and mobility issues and I heard one of the hairdressers at the top of the stairs talking about me. We only went to this salon for the ease of being closer to home and don’t think we will be coming back. I suppose this salon is great for those who are regulars but for people going for the first time it’s really not worth it.

isla did my first haircut in a decade as i never liked how people would cut it before but she got it perfect and i will definitely become a regular❤️ the salon is also lovely and clean and welcoming

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Emma does a brilliant hair cut and blow dry. I always come out feeling great and completely satisfied with the result.
