Lovely staff, my daughter had lost interest a little but with a highly successful exam pass (albeit pricey) she has renewed interest. I have her tutor Miss Smith to thank for putting in the extra time to get her really ready.Keep me up to date with information about her progress each year and costs etc .

Both my daughters have attended Tees Valley Youth Choir (through TVMS) over the last 6 years. They have been given amazing support and teaching. They have both completed their grade 8 in musical Theatre and my 16 year old is now working towards her diploma. TVYC has such an amazing family ethos with everyone welcome. During lockdown they ran family music quizzes to limit isolation and keep spirits high. They completed multiple virtual concerts and musical recordings to allow the pupils to express themselves at an incredibly challenging time. The care for the local community during lockdown was so special including music videos for care home residents and young nursery and primary school aged children. I cannot recommend the youth choir more highly. The team are amazing and the pupils form great friendships. It's great to see them singing together again and having fun while learning challenging and beautiful pieces.

I have had lessons with TVMS for many years and the support and teaching provided by the staff is amazing and it meant that I achieved two grade 8s and I am now working on my diploma. They have given me so many opportunities and memories in the past few years that I will never forget. TVYC is very welcoming and is a great place to relax and have fun with friendly people who share a love of music. I would highly recommend TVMS to anyone who wants to get involved in music and who wants to make new friends.

We love the people at Tees Valley Music Service! They come in each week at 3:30pm and deliver our Wellness Choir with alacrity, skill and sensitivity. Hurrah to Becky, Susan and the team. While I'm here - all are welcome to the session!

Awful company, teacher hardly showed up, was late to a lot of classes. Excuses ranged from not realising the school had gone back after holidays to forgetting about lessons. Had my child standing outside the music room waiting for a lesson for over an hour (whilst missing actual lessons and lunch) to be told the teacher wasn’t coming. No concerns raised to the company were ever dealt with, then had emails constantly demanding payments when my child had only received 1 lesson that month, you never actually receive the amount of lessons you pay for, you just get ripped off.

First came to TVMS as a student aged 13 - joining the Tees Valley Youth Choir. An amazing choir of fantastic young singers. I received top quality vocal tuition - achieving Grade 8 at 16, Performance Diploma at 18 and Associate Diploma age 20. I also had great guitar lessons, but focussed mainly on my singing. I now work as a professional singer, performing every week, and I work part time on marketing and events for TVMS.

I had lessons with Tvms for many years and will recommend them to anyone wanting music lessons. Everyone is warm and welcoming and I have made many friends from taking part in concerts and choirs.

The people that run this company are a bunch of cowboys. Dont expect to ever get them on the phone if you need anything. I had 4 months of my children not being taught in 2019/2020 and got a bill for it over a year later threatening court action. When I called to discuss, they refused to help, saying it had to be put in a form. The teacher was rubbish, she hardly ever showed up and when she did, she was rude and abrupt with the children. I saw this with my own eyes. Dont even bother with the orchestra or ceilidh band". Talk about cultural misappropriation
