First, by mistake the (friendly) staff instead knocking at our room door, just open the door and want us out of the room because a payment issueSecond, at 4am we get a fire drill, looks like someone decided to smoke in their room in the early morning. after that incident no one could go back to sleep.I don't recommend this hotel to anyone because people book a room to sleep and not to be disturbed several times a night.I will not mention the conditions of rooms and toilets.

This is not a 5* hotel and this is great. Is the best value quality I have found on my trips (and I did 28 trips last year). Is a simple room, simple toilets and shower but everything super clean, well maintained and easy to use. Great room heater, shower temperature and shower pressure. Would come again for sure. Friendly staff :)

For a basic no. Frills value room for the night but it's generally clean. Well catch with friendly staff who are very accommodating 24 hours a day. This is a great stopover and it's right next to the A1 with direct routes into Newcastle city center, the airport from here and Kingston park...

Stayed here on 10th June to be closer to work in Newcastle next day,Staff where friendly. Room had all basics I wanted, showed wear and tear but was clean, double bed was comfortable. Got given a room in a more quiet area since I was traveling for work. Only thing I thought made a bit of noise on the night apart from the odd person walking up the corridor was the air ventilation above the door, but found you could close it by pressing on it. Overall not bad for the price, would say here again.

Plus points clean sheets and towels it felt like a hostel to be fair we only wanted to sleep but not sure i would go back very very basic and run down kids loved the bunk bed staff. We're. LovelyBut it felt awful needs done up but I was so tired it done for a sleep if you want a scruffy hostel then this is your place

It's obviously having plenty of work done and it looks good. My 15-year-old son and I stayed in a ground floor room and it was fit for purpose. Next time I'll need to bring a kettle and due to the raised level of the toilet entrance a grab handle would be a big improvement for minimum outlay.It's a cheap, clean room for the night with absolutely no frills. Tricky to get to if you don't drive (£17 central station to the hotel in a cab).Keep making the new effort.

Staff are friendly and supportive, they make you feel as a family.Shared toilets and showers is the worst part.Affordable price.Good room services, small rooms but clean.5-10 min walk to nearst bus station and/or shops.

Stayed 1 night. price is definitely ok absolutely not expensive. room only smelled very sour air. you don't have a shower in the room for that you have to cross the hall. were clean. if you don't expect much, this is quite okay. friendly staff though

The sat navigation couldn't locate it to start with. But we got there. Bog standard rooms. No amenities for refreshments. And portable loos inside. Cheep and cheerful I suppose
