The Lansdowne Hotel

Reasonably priced, breakfast included, complimentary drink vouchers, really friendly staff, super cool bar showing football and live music, short trip into Belfast centre. We loved our 3 night stay at the Lansdowne. Rooms maybe could do with a slight modernisation but this doesn’t impact the stay.

Arrived at 12pm on a Sunday with my dad and my brother and 13 month old daughter. There was no one on the door receiving us so we sat ourselves down at a table, someone then came over and refused us due to the door policy of ‘No tracksuit bottoms’.Completely understandable, rules are rules and we accepted.What was the absolute joke of it all is that as we were walking out, they had allowed cyclists in full cycling attire (shorts, boots and vests) into the restaurant to sit down and have a drink but they wouldn’t allow a family with a 13 month old baby in.

Staff are genuinely happy + so helpful. All of them all the time! But especially their manager who just goes out of his way to help. Comfortable cozy clean hotel and safe. Very convenient for Belfast and good parking. We had a hearing dog with our party and they all welcomed him so much. Made it easy for us.

Lovely Christmas decorations at our time of year.Music in the bar that evening was great.Went for breakfast the next morning at 07:20 but service doesn't commence until after 07:30. Would recommend management have earlier start for tourists and business people needing to start their day earlier. Ended up catching Uber to the city where a fantastic cafe was open (noting most cafes don't start until well after 8. This must be normal for a much later start in cities with a later sunrise or maybe unique to Belfast).Hallway to our room smelt smoky which I took as being smokers walking through however found out later from staff visiting our very noisy neighbours that they were also smoking in their rooms. Smoke smell in hallway much improved next day. Therefore well done staff dealing with the problem occupants.

Had a brilliant night at the Landsdowne. A fabulous band, The Professionals was playing.Great music, delicious cocktails and a friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

A pleasant stay here. Staff are excellent, helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was substantial. Room good size and clean. Lovely Christmas decorations have gone up already, though on mid November but it imbued a nice atmosphere in reception and dining area.

Dropped in for a meeting with a colleague over coffee. Handy place close to M1 motorway for a quiet meeting. Spacious lounge / restaurant / bar area with a range of tables & booths etc for quick meetings. Very friendly staff, great service & nice prices. Free parking on site & disabled access. Well worth a visit....

A fantastic addition to the Antrim Road. The new Lansdowne is classy, modern with real cool vibes. Food and decor are superb with a real down to earth team looking after you. With a great variation in entertainment. Why taxi into town ???
