Tried to buy a bike 4 times for my Child’s birthday and still couldn’t buy it!1) asked to buy the bike, salesman wished to sell us the the display model, as there was a few marks on it we did not want the display model. Then the salesman said, “I will see if we have any out the back” (why didn’t they do this at the start?)2) they did have any out the back, he said they can order online into the store and they will build it and let us know when it is ready, there was none in there to order into store in stock on their internal system. He then said we can order online on their website to deliver at store and they will build it, there was website online stock, I asked why can’t I deliver to home, he said if I build it then it would not be in warranty, I find this hard to believe, but went along with it. So ordered it on line to get delivered into store3) online click and collect. Got a phone call from the same salesman saying that the bike I reserved was the display model so he would cancel to order and if I could wait a few hours it would be available to order one to get delivered into store.4) waited a few hours. Tried several times to order online and would not allow me to. Rang store and got through to the same salesman and he knew exactly who I was and what I was trying to buy, he said leave it with me he will sort it and get back to me within 5 mins (still waiting for the call now)How hard can it be to buy a bike that is in stock online and to get it build by them? I am perfectly capable of building the bike but did not wish to void the warranty. It’s like they don’t wish for the custom!

Jackets & Coats, winter gloves,hats for kids and adults, neck warmers. Good selection of walking/hiking/skiing shoes and snow boots / normal boots for adults and children. Nice fleeces and knitted wears. Overall a good shop and easily accessible near A1.

Had an item that needed to be returned and exchanged due to a fault. Service by the staff was excellent no fuss or issue. Also great help in selecting the replacement item.

Apparently you can order on line but not in store. speak to the staff and they talk over you and don't listen. Called the so called manager Andy he wasn't much use either the only reason I gave one star as I cannot give a minus

Go Outdoors has a great range of stock to compare under one roof so like it for that. The membership scheme is a charade to pretend you are getting a bargain. We recently bought a tent listed at £600 at the members rate of £334. Same price as Black's and Millets.

Went to buy walking boots. Was helped by friendly and helpful staff who gave informative and honest advice. A nice shop with a good range of products.

Walking boots and shoes, a great selection to choose from. Service was excellent from a young female, nothing was too much bother for her. Took me a while to choose. Forgot to ask for my Caravan and Camping Club discount, I might just call in and see if they will honour it. As Arny says, I will be back.
