Fantastic place to chill out, come rain or shine!

Just returned from a fabulous weekend of sailing with Celtic Cruises on the beautiful and very comfortable Celtic Star with wonderful people in North Wales. I had no experience of sailing at all, but this weekend I completed my Introduction to Yachting RYA course with Petra as my instructor. Both Petra and Richard are extremely knowledgeable, highly competent, very supportive and make learning great fun. Their hospitality is second to none. Richard's cooking is amazing, with a well thought out menu for each day and complementing wines for each dinner course. I had no idea such amazing fare could be produced from such limited stove space! As well as generally having a great time, with great conversation as well as great teaching, one of my personal highlights was stepping into a dinghy with an outboard motor and being whizzed ashore to pop into a pub! I loved every minute and will definitely be back, but next time with my husband and kids! Thank you Petra and Richard for an amazing weekend.

Did my Introduction to Sailing course here and it was phenomenal. The quality of instruction is the best I've experienced and the food was pretty much 5 star restaurant food - some of the nicest I've had on or off shore.I went into it very nervous and unsure of what to expect and came out excited to carry on training and sailing. Both Richard and Petra were patient and encouraging and I very much recommend - to the point that i'm writing this review which i rarely do.

Fantastic 5 days aboard Celtic Star learning RYA Competent Crew skills. Instruction was second to none and the food was amazing! Fellow students were a great bunch too! Thank you Richard and Petra!
