Majestic Wine

The young female member of staff was very helpful and knowledgeable - they even refunded a bottle that was faulty - well done and thank you - Friday 14th May 2021

Lots of reasonably priced wines from just about everywhere you can think of. Staff are helpful and friendly - if you buy a few bottles, they find a box for you - and always offer to take it out to your car - there's a handy car park, and because of the traffic lights nearby, it's easy to get in and out in the car. There are always wines you can try - and they do a big selection of other things, particularly good is the gin section. Slightly annoying is that you have to give your name and postcode every time you buy something. Regular customers would be better served with some kind of plastic store or loyalty card that could be scanned at the till.

Nice wine warehouse tucked away behind Dumbarton Road.They do regular cheese and wine tasting events.Catering for large events is something they do and the buy back any unopened bottles, which was good for us as we got the wine for our wedding here and we got to get our money back on the wine the guests didn’t drink.Delivery available too.The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Brilliant, helpful staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. Always wines available to sample and excellent range of wines and spirits to purchase. Moved to Majestic after using other 'clubs' and don't regret it...

Having shopped here for 5+ years on a fortnightly to monthly basis, there is a member of staff who works here (within last year or two) whom has put me off ever collecting or arranging delivery from this store. I'm not a difficult customer, I'm in and out and I email my order through and take subs if they are there - but this particular member of staff is ignorant with no social skills and shouldn't be allowed to deal with customers. Bad energy. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder for some reason. I won't name names - but fair to say, I will only order online from the Majestic website now even though it takes longer - I don't want to take the risk of having to speak to this staff member. Cathy in this store, however, is lovely along with another two women whom I can't place their names. All things considering, a 5 star is still worthy - I just don't want to visit this store for collection or anything else if I risk having to deal with any other than these three women. I would be more than happy to return to ordering locally if it can be assured this member of staff won't be the person I have to deal with.

Bought a few cases of wine for my wedding. Received great service from Kathy who was very helpful. friendly and knowledgeable.
