Lovely cafe with delicious cream tea and strong coffee. The scones are giant, they’re served with a generous amount of clotted cream and strawberry jam. Lovely little old sweet shop attached to the cafe

Opens earlier than other cafes in the area. Fresh home-baked pies and pastries straight from the oven. There is a small outside area (fits about 4) overlooking a lake and seating inside. A great place for a snack. The people who run it are lovely.

A lovely little cafe with very friendly staff, a delightful place to eat. The decor is based around WW2 in homage to the history of Slapton Sands, which was used by American troops training in the run up to D day. The food is very good. You can have your grilled halloumi with sunblush toms and avocado toast but they also do a bloody brilliant bacon bap. All in all a real gem and very, very reasonably priced. I certainly intend to go again next time I'm at Torcross. Very highly recommended (by me!).

Amazing bacon rolls, pasties and sausage rolls. Also tried some cake which was delicious. Decor is clean, bright and reflecting WWII so fascinating. Would thoroughly recommend. Also do a lovely takeaway service.

A lovely little cafe,with gorgeous homemade cakes…incorporated with souvenirs and old fashioned sweet shop! Decorated in keeping with the history of slapton sands. Definitely recommend a visit!

The place was recommended, my Dad and I were there to see the Tank on display and we were hungry, the place was busy with happy looking customers, staff were nice to talk to and the food was very good, I had a BLT, inside is very well laid out and interesting with lots of nice little things to buy.Highly recommended.

Lovely little cafe. The proprietor opened up 30 minutes early to accommodate me and a few cycling pals. The cafe has a D Day/WWII theme which is tastefully done. Comfy chairs, good coffee and food selection.

A must to visit if you are in Torcross a lovely quirky place with super friendly staff and delicious food. Amazing cream teas, lovely trinkets and old fashioned jars of sweets to buy by the qtr. Plus Devonshire pasties we took ours home. Glyn x
