Absolutely wonderful and caring. Having to rehome George was a tough decision to make and the centre made sure that his new family were perfect for him, which gave me huge peace of mind knowing that he would be the happiest doggy and very well loved. Thank you to Alan especially

I (Tina) cannot praise this Rescue Centre Enough.I contacted a few rescues about a little dog I was having sleepless nights about. They were the only ones to get back to me and not only that have happily got him into a gorgeous foster home. The staff were incredibly kind but totally professional. When I want another animal they will be the first rescue I call onThank you WAW you are simply the best

Can't thank Janet at WAW enough. After not seeing my cat for a couple of months my neighbour discovered her under his shed with a new litter of kittens. Unfortunately as we are due to have twins any day now we could not offer them the love and care that they deserve. I contacted WAW for help and they have been nothing but lovely and helpful from the start. I'm so grateful they will go on to have the lovely homes they deserve. Thank you for making a difficult time so much easier. I realise as a charity WAW must be having a very hard time in these already difficult circumstances so I am so grateful for you helping me when no one else would.

Rang for help and advice on 23/09/23 at 11.10am after being recommended by a vet because we caught a stray cat that the vet said is Ferrell, apparently this organisation help Ferrell cats, the woman on the phone answered abruptly, when I explained the situation, she rudely cut me off telling me they’re full and was actually pretty aggressive in her tone. She was very condescending and even raised her voice at me telling me the cat is not Ferrell if I’ve managed to pick it up, I’ve rehabilitated two Ferrell cats who are now my loving pets from Cyprus who hated humans, so I know a little bit about cat behaviour and handling them. She kept cutting me off and talking to me like I’m stupid, she then shouted at me that she would have to ring me back, I told her not to bother.Disgusting and very unprofessional! This woman shouldn’t be answering the phone, she clearly doesn’t know how to speak with people.

They were absolutely amazing helping me find a forever loving home for my little dog, I had to give him up due to my health deteriorating quite badly. I'd definitely 100% recommend these people to find a forever loving pet. A worthwhile charity

The work these people do is absolutely outstanding. I have rescued 2 cats and both have been absolute angels. Facilities are excellent and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and amazing with the animals. If you can, please get in touch and rescue an animal as it could be their second chance at life and be the companion that brings you so much joy, just as my two cats have! Thankyou WAW!

Cleared my house for adoption by visiting the area. Rang me from outside my house to say it was fine and suitable. Then changed their minds a couple of weeks later when I changed my mind about which cat to adopt (original had health issues not mentioned on the site). I hadn’t even met any of the cats so it’s not like I’d bonded with one. Plus the original was adopted anyway so it’s not like my change of mind caused any problem (apparently its health issues disappeared once adopted - as I was told in a rather spiteful email - which I was supposed to foresee I guess - although, what the email did do, was confirm that I was originally cleared or else why bother telling me about the original cat if my home wasn't suitable?). Had cats 20+ years. Nursed my last one through intestinal cancer, and before then gave him daily asthma inhaler for over 10 years. Petty (no pun intended) people to miss out on a home for an animal because I changed my mind about one I’d never even met and didn’t know had issues.
