I had problems with a tooth back in 2021 when my dentist told me he could not save the tooth and that it would need to be extracted. Since it was near the front I decided there and then I would go down the path of implants. He could have recommended me to another dentist in Glasgow City Centre but my husband had been attending Dental FX for implants with Dr Stephen Jacobs and he was very impressed so I decided to do the same.I was extremely nervous on my first visit simply because I just did not know what to expect. When I arrived at the practice I was received by the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful which helped me feel at ease. When I met with Dr Jacobs he told me of the whole procedure and then examined my mouth. For some reason, that may sound silly, but by Dr Jacobs just examining my mouth, I felt very safe and in very capable hands. He appeared very knowledgeable, very professional and I felt then that I had done the right thing.I attended the practice three times over a few months and at the end of each procedure I was amazed at how smoothly and painlessly it was done. I was made to feel relaxed and safe and that made the whole experience stress free. When it came to the implant being inserted I could not believe it had finished. I had to keep asking Dr Jacobs, “is that it”.I would highly recommend Dental FX to anyone wanting excellent dental care.

Excellent dental practice. I am a brass musician who had some difficulties with unstable lower front teeth affecting my playing. I was apprehensive about getting work done on my teeth as I knew this could potentially end my playing career. However, after several consultations and discussions I was persuaded that implants would sort the problem. And they did - I now can play safely and without pain or discomfort and without any detriment to my playing abilities. Should have got it done sooner! In addition to the excellent dental care, the staff are very welcoming and reassuring and the facilities in the practice are modern and in attractive surroundings. Highly recommended.

Dr James Millar organised my daughter’s wisdom teeth extractions a couple of weeks ago. The team managed to put her at her ease despite her fear and the whole experience was super. X-rays and scans were all done prior for the best preparation and excellent sedation on the day made the whole procedure quick and painless.We highly recommend Dental FX thanks so much !

I was referred to Dental Fx from my NHS practice. Nahida immediately told me that my existing cosmetic work was to a very high standard and spent time advising me of simple interventions which would enhance my smile. I'm now a dedicated client and enjoy the visits not only for the quality of dentistry but also for the conversation and friendly approach.

Never thought I would say it but a lovely experience going to the dentist. The staff are so lovely and professional and Nahida, my dentist, puts me totally at ease. I feel the treatment she has given me as well as the advice has resulted in my teeth and gums been in better condition than they have ever been.

I have had five dental implants fitted at Dental FX, all carried out by Dr Stephen Jacobs, the last being in July last year. At the start of the treatment i was nervous and very apprehensive, the procedure is quite invasive, imagining all the pain i was going to experience. I needn't have worried though as Dr Stephen Jacobs was so skilled and professional and after the first visit to fit the post into the bone, i can honestly say that apart from some mild discomfort I had no real pain. The follow up appointments, a scan for the creation of a crown and then the actual fitting of the crown were painless and easy. The following four implants were exactly the same and I have now got perfect teeth. Since having my implants I have enrolled with Dental FX for all my dental and hygienist work. I would highly recommend Dental FX to anyone thinking of going down the implant route, the surgery is modern and well appointed with state of the art equipment and the staff are efficient and friendly.

I have been a smiling patient of Dental Fx and of Stephen Jacobs before he moved to the present location - 20 + years ago?The service and treatment is excellent, otherwise I wouldn't drive all the way across town. Even during covid times, when many other dentists surgeries were closed, the practise installed air filters in each surgery to enable them to continue to treat patients. Advice, treatment, pain control, hygiene, preventative advice, patient service is all of a very high standard.I can genuinely recommend this practise for new patients to try out - you will be impressed!
