Had an eye test done in a tiny booth by a machine linked up to a lady in Germany. I wasn't warned this was how it was done & wasn't happy. I've worn varifocals for years but the new prescription & glasses were clearly wrong. I was told my eyes just needed to adjust. After 3 months I gave up and went elsewhere where yes the prescription I had been given was very wrong.Should've gone to Specsavers.

The shop made 3 attempts to make my new prescription lenses and COMPLETELY FAILED using the excuse my eyes need to adjust, I was refused a refund.NO apology and would not accept they had made any error. My advice stay clear of this shop.

Don’t want to know when something is wrong with lenses in spectacles which were purchased in store.Went to another optician and they spotted the fault within 15 seconds!I will never use this place again!

Old fashioned basic eye test. Charged £100 for one lense until challenged reduced to £50.Varifocal not correct but to awkward and frosty to return. Not given good customer service kept answering phonewhilst dealing with me and was very reluctant to give prescription copy. Still not received it .

Went here after having problems in the past with the bigger shops. Can honestly say I’m glad I did.From start to finish absolutely brilliant service. Highly recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone, I questioned my sons prescription to be told I was totally wrong to challenge the optician , then I received a phone call later from the shop to say I could have a re test .this came back totally different to the first eye test but again The test prescription was very basic hardly any information on it so decided to have a re test at a high street chain , both test that were done at this independent shop were totally wrong . They say to support the smaller businesses , but if this is what you get I wouldn’t encourage anyone too .

Great fast service, and they do eye test as well now but not for NHS patients. He has a good range of frames at very reasonable prices and he has dug me out of a hole a couple of times when I needed same day simple glasses either reglazing or new ones making up. Check out the costs for new lenses and reglazing and you’ll never go to Vision Express or Specsavers again. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely,helpful staff. A great range of frames,even my partner found several pairs to fit, he needs a wide frame,and struggled to find a frame to fit at 2 other well known opticians. Had an appointment with Mr Rahman, he was very nice,put me at ease, and carried out a very thorough eye test.

If I could give a zero I would!Been here multiple times over the years and always had a lovely warm friendly welcome, however, there's recently been a change of management which is most definitely not for the better!Instead of being greeted with the usual, hello can I help you, I was left standing in the shop for a good few minutes whilst one member of staff was being very vocal about the business (a conversation that should have stopped the second a customer walked in) with not so much as a smile and a gesticulation of give me a second please.... not a thing until I got do you want something"! No
