Alterations Studio

I have just had my wedding dress altered up a couple of sizes and what an amazing service!I couldn't fault the speed and skill involved. It was well worth driving too and from Derby to get this done.Not only was it a great alteration, I was put at ease during a time that I was feeling very flustered.Would recommend to anyone!

From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. Considering there was a group of 4 of us with quite a few alterations, upon collection everything was perfect and the alterations made were exactly what we wanted. The finish on the sewing is very good quality. Very happy gang!

I had my bridesmaid dress altered here. It fits perfectly, it was done quickly and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I had a last minute mare with my wedding dress.. 2 days before I was getting married, I tried my wedding dress on which was miles too big for me around my chest, needless to say, I was in a mess. My best friend had used this alteration shop for her bridesmaids dress and stated how much of a good job was done. We rang with little hope that they could fit me in. I was wrong. I was invited down to the shop the same day, and with time not on our side, the owners done what they could. I collected the dress the day before the wedding and cried. Could not recommend these guys enough. We’ve used them a few times and they’ve always been great. This time I took a dress in for quite a complex alteration and my husband took in a waistcoat to get the back lining changed. Both items were altered perfectly. They always go above and beyond and nothing is too much hassle! We will be customers for life

I had a fringed leather jacket altered recently and Alterations Studio were fantastic. It was made smaller on the waist, sleeves (length and width) and shoulder width - quite a lot to do! I believe leather alterations are quite specialist and they really knew what they were doing, you can't tell it's been altered. They were also lovely people to deal with. I was going away and wanted to wear the jacket on my trip, and they got it done in time, which was brilliant. I'm really pleased and will definitely return next time I need something altered.

PLEASE READ!!! We always knew and trusted Alteration Studio to give a great service, and this proves we were not wrong!We’ve been using these guys infrequently but for years for small repairs, taking up trousers/jeans, repairing items of clothing etc.. and have found them to be helpful, timely and very reliable.Based on these thoughts, we decided to trust them and set a huge challenge! - Me and my wife lost our son shortly after his birth, after much thought we decided it’d be fitting to store his ashes in a beautiful bunny teddy bear.We called into Alteration Studio- bunny in hand, and spoke with a lovely gentleman called Alex, we explained the situation and that we’d like some kind of Zip or Velcro fitted to the bunny. He explained that it wouldn’t be easy for them as this is a specialist project and quite a challenge but he obviously had faith and confidence and asked us to leave it with him.A short time later we got a call from Alex, he said they’d manage to fit a zip and let us know the bunny was ready for collection.On collection we we’re presented with our very precious item, complete with a perfectly fitted, colour matched zip.To top it off, these guys wouldn’t accept payment for the work they did! - Outstanding, a business with heart!From me, my wife and our son Francis.Thank you!
