Happy Cats

Can’t thank Emma enough , our cat Daphne is quite timid and hides from strangers.Emma worked her magic and had Daphne having a cuddle on her knee by the end of our short break.Highly recommend this cat sitting service !

We searched online for someone who could take care of our three housecats, one of which has particular medical problems and we found Emma of Happy Cats. She was more than qualified, and is kind, caring and loves cats, taking extra time to ensure our cats are relaxed and happy. Emma also provided me with additional cat related advice which has proved to be extremely helpful. I received daily updates, with wonderful photos and videos which gave us further assurance that they are content in her capable hands. The cats are now upset she's gone!! What a relief to find someone to take care of the cats so we can now fully relax and enjoy our holidays!

We are relatively new to Harrogate and needed someone to take care of our two tabby cats for a weekend away. A friend recommended Happy Cats to us and we are so grateful to have found Emma. We were rather late confirming our days, but Emma managed to fit us in and even spent an hour with us a few days beforehand so we could get to know each other and she could meet our furry companions. Emma has a real affinity with cats, is extremely qualified and very organised! Our cats can be quite timid around strangers, but they took to Emma straight away and she made notes about all likes and dislikes. Whilst we were away, we received lots of photos and detailed updates about how they were doing. They looked so happy, it really put our minds at ease. I would 100% call on Emma again and recommend her to anyone looking for a personal and friendly service.

We feel lucky to have Emma as our new cat sitter for our shy and nervous cat .He has had to go into a cattery a few times this year for the first time and was very unhappy about it .Emma has just looked after him with a daily visit for the last 4 days ,she followed our instructions and requests thoroughly and sent us a daily report and photo so that we knew he was in good hands. I now feel that we can have our annual holidays without the stress of taking him to the cattery and leaving him ,Emma was really patient and good with him and clearly loves cats .Thank you Emma .

I’m so glad I used Emma to look after my precious Molly.Previously Molly had been to a cattery, but I decided she would be much happier being looked after at home.Emma came round for a preparatory meeting before I went away and was very patient listening to all my instructions. She was very reassuring and really set my mind at rest about leaving Molly in her care. It’s obvious that Emma is extremely knowledgeable about, and very fond of, cats.I loved Emma’s updates when I was away. It was so lovely to know how Molly was doing and to receive all the photos/video.I got back home yesterday to a very clean and tidy house and, best of all, such a happy and contented Molly. I would not hesitate to use Emma again and would highly recommend her.

Emma has been absolutely brilliant! Leaving our elderly nervous cat has always given us a lot of stress and been very traumatic for her when, on a very rare occasion, we have had to use a cattery. Then we found Emma! From her initial visit and introduction we were so reassured. Our cat has been so happy, totally content, very relaxed and purry, and eaten well and happily. We have returned home to a completely satisfied, happy and affectionate cat. Thank you Emma so much. We cannot recommend her highly enough!
