Went for afternoon tea and to meet santa.Their teas are excellent and you can't fault anything. The staff are polite and very helpful as well.Everything is prepared freshly on the premises as well

Excellent centre with a caring and skilled staff. Always made extremely welcome which is why we keep going back as a group. Highly recommended.Updated 19/07/21Still excellent 10 months on! Even with social distancing rules in place, our group thoroughly enjoyed the stay and we felt safe. Rachel and her team are outstanding and look after ever detail. We've all probably eaten too much but it's hard to say no to those wholesome home-cooked creations (especially the cakes!). See you all again soon! (Including Brian the pheasant)

Great! Staff and place! Rachel, Dawn and everyone were amazing! We never had to wait for anything. Perfectly timed and perfectly (expertly) handled. I will be back! :) Look forward to seeing you all again.

Amazing place, definitely one of a kind. Super friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. Fantastic home-cooked food for residential group stays plus amazing cakes and biscuits for walk-ins. Great value, there's nowhere else I know like it. Plus the grounds are just beautiful.

An quiet and peaceful retreat centre, run by the new church, but never feeling overly religious. The staff are wonderful, and real effort was out into the food served. Rooms are small, but comfortable with good (if small) beds and en suite bathrooms (with good water pressure in the shower)

Just spent a few days at Purley Chase, really impressed! I would recommend if you are having a conference and need a place to do a talk. Beautiful grounds, very tranquil, excellent food etc. Its location is sort of geo-centric in the country, so equal distant for all participants to make their way toward.
