A decent selection of Polish and other European foods. They also have small fresh produce and deli sections, with a selection of meats, sausages and cheese with reasonable prices. However, as small shops in York often are, the space is quite cramped and tightly packed. Nevertheless, it is a shop I will gladly return to!

Wow what a place !Stocked to the brim with assorted food from Poland the most amazing choice of Polish sausage and cold meats ,Pyrogi ( I think that's how you spell it ) ,100% Rye bread, Alsorted Pickles all variations of Kapuska ,Stuffed Cabbage even the Eggs were Polish , your head spins at the sheer choice of goodies stacked on the shelves !Don't be afraid to ask the staff who are only to keen to help !I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment used not only by the local Polish community but by passing custom !If you are in the area pay them a visit !Ps the Dry smoked Ribs we bought were to die for !

Good shop with a decent selection of snacks and drinks and a great meat counter, however the allergen information provided for the sandwiches is not sufficient for anyone with allergies unfortunately

I am so glad this shop exists in York. I just relocated here from Slovakia and was surprised that in England shops you won't find kefir, quark, poppy and flax seeds or buckwheat for a reasonable price. But this shop has it all, three times cheaper than in Waitrose or Co-op. Together with Zam Zam my two favorite shops in York so far.

Entering the store feels like stepping into a different country. Anyone from central and Eastern Europe will feel nostalgia hit them at the layout and wares of the store. Good place to get dairy products so hard to find in England.
