Overwater Hall Hotel
Superb food and great service. The hotel is in the process of being sold so although the rooms are very good there are some minor things, aging TV screen, dated furnishings, that prevent it being 5 star.

We had a fantastic meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary last night. Wonderful staff, great service and amazing food. Highly recommended.

This stay was a birthday treat for my wife. From the minute we arrived until we departed the service was exceptional. The food was delicious and the presentation was magnificent. Top marks to this hotel and it's owners.

1st off staff were excellent. Made you feel at home straight away. The food was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean. . It has its own 18 acres of grounds.If you need peace and quiet and to relax, this is the place to be. I would highly recommend

Overwater Hall Hotel
An amazing place to stay. Service professional and warm from all staff. Stayed in a superior room which had some lovely additions and a bath, big enough for 2. Lovely walks around the hotel grounds, view from room was beautiful, and to top it all off, the food was super tasty and presented to fine dining standards.

Overwater Hall Hotel
We didn't stay but came for dinner one evening. The service was fantastic, personal and attentive, and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was outstanding, exquisitely presented and without exaggeration a taste explosion. Never before have I raved so much about food, it was fine dining at its very best. Small intimate dining room, wonderful experience. I would love to go again!

Fabulous hotel in a lovely setting. My wife and I have stayed at Overwater Hall on numerous occasions over the years and have never been disappointed by the welcome, atmosphere and delightful surroundings. Angela, Adrian and Stephen are wonderful hosts. We recently celebrated our daughter's wedding at the hotel. We had a fantastic day - great reception, accommodation and dinner. Like us, our guests loved the peaceful location, great staff and superb food.

The most special break away from the hustle and bustle. The location is perfect, such a peaceful and picturesque setting. It’s a real time out from the world as everything is so still and there’s no phone signal which adds to the experience! The hotel is comfortable, intimate and classic. The owners and staff are very friendly and make your stay so personal and welcoming.The service is impeccable, fine dining meets casual setting. The food is out of this world and takes the stay to the next level. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in my life. Each plate is delicately and beautifully put together.This is a special place to us so and given us unforgettable memories.

Absolute jewel of a place , no wifi no phone signal absolute bliss , superb oldy worldly place fantastic people run the place , with attention to detail 100% , food is fantastic by Adrian, with Stephen and Angela your main front of house people , all members of staff were great with great wealth of knowledge of the local area too , ideal place to get away from your modern hi tec society and relax and walk and forget about everything for a few days , superb evening meals washed down with bottle of red , nice breakfast next morning to set you up for the day ahead , great gardens , our room had everything you needed with bath or shower , dressing and main bedroom ,These places are few and far between these days and we highly recommend a wkend staying here , dog friendly with some walks laid out in the grounds for you and a well stocked cosy bar and lounge to relax in , grand old style staircase and decor adds to the charm too .
