Pride and Groom

Lloyd's first experience at Pride and Groom was amazing. Our smelly lab came back very happy, looking great and no longer smelly! Ella was lovely and very helpful and took good care of our boy, he'll definitely be going back!

Appalling result, even the groomer said he looked atrocious after the groom.Rude, unhelpful and unprofessional.Please don’t go here.One star is far too generous.

Rude Staff MemberI have used Pride and Groom since they opened. I have always been happy with the service received. The staff have always been polite and caring. They have always done a good job. On my last visit a new member of staff was dealing with me. I found her arrogant, rude and fond of the sound of her own voice in a condescending manner. She wanted to charge me £10 more than I usually paid. I asked her to check the records. She said that it was ridiculous that I had been paying so little. She then told me that prices had gone up. She showed me a price list that stated £30 for a large dog. That is what I had been paying since I first started taking my dogs there. We are talking about three years. She then showed me some text at the bottom that said more could be charged for Retrievers or Husky Dogs. My dog was none of those breeds and does not have a long coat. Even if the prices had gone up, which they hadn't, and I was being asked to pay more for the same service it could have been done politely. I just could not believe the attitude coming from this staff member. What a pity because previous staff members were an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you have a choice, avoid the new groomer with the dark hair. It was not a pleasant experience.

My dogs are always so relaxed and happy during their grooming sessions, and come back looking amazing. The groomers are very professional and knowledgeable, and really care about the animals. (Sorry they were so muddy when they arrived last time!)

I have been bringing my dog, Rosie to see Ella for over 3 years. Rosie is not the easiest dog to groom, but Ella does an amazing job and is very patient with Rosie.The staff at Pride and Groom are very friendly, welcoming and professional, I would highly recommend them for your grooming needs.

I really can't praise this place highly enough. I've been bringing my Goldie here for several months now, and he always emerges beautifully clean and smelling gorgeous. This is despite his tendency to wallow in rank mud - a common thing with Goldies. Lisa is always friendly and professional, and clearly loves dogs. Highly recommended :-)

We took Una and Zeus in for some special treatment and they came back looking amazing and happy. A very professional service and we be taking them back for the next grooming. I highly recommend pride and Groom to other owners. Well done.
