New House Farm

Yesterday we had our Wedding at New House Farm and can’t recommend the venue highly enough. Everything about New House Farm is amazing and couldn’t be surrounded by more stunning scenery.One of the most wonderful things is how personal Hazel and the team makes it all feel. They were there to help us through every moment and make sure all our wedding wishes came true. Love it!

A huge Thankyou to everyone at New house farm for making our wedding so special.We got married at New house farm at the beginning of May and it was the most magical day. We cannot recommend it enough. The venue is stunning and is situated in the most beautiful part of the Lake District. Hazel and her team were fantastic and could not have supported us or helped us more. They were so accommodating, kind and considerate and everything ran smoothly because of them. The rooms were beautiful and clean and breakfast was delicious. I want to do it all over again. Please visit new house farm if you are looking for the best wedding venue in the lakes.

We are absolutely blown away with how amazing New House Farm and Hazel were for our Wedding! It was the most perfect chilled day from start to finish, Hazel was super helpful and happy to help with whatever we needed from the preparation right up until the last minute on the day. The venue was absolutely stunning and we couldn't have asked for a better day! We didn't want a massive fuss and wanted the day to be as chilled as possible, Hazel was happy to go with the flow which made it perfect for us! We stopped in the house the night before and the night of the wedding, Hazel provided breakfast on a rolling basis and there was loads of it too.We would highly recommend Hazel and New House Farm as a wedding venue, the space is beautiful and Hazel is just the best at being adaptable and helpful.

We highly recommend New House Farm to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The whole setting is beautiful and Hazel (the owner) and her team can’t do enough for you to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. The help and support we received, not only on the day, but also in the lead up to the wedding was brilliant. We really can’t thank everyone enough for helping to make our day so special and memorable.

Went for a family wedding but I didn't stay overnight at this venue.Absolutely stunning area, on a nice day the views are amazing, the venue itself has a couple of function rooms with bars and is kept clean and tidy.The staff are amazingly friendly and hard working.Highly recommended.

Out beyond, or just before, Lorton in beautiful Lakeland scenery this wedding venue has a lot to offer. Two spacious venues on opposite sides of a carefully created courtyard with manicured lawns and ample parking stretching in both directions.The larger space, The Hayloft, is perfect for a sit down wedding dinner. The smaller space, The Cart Shed, has a small bar area and huge sliding glazed doors opening onto a covered courtyard. The room is very 'lively' and any sounds echo making quiet conversations difficult. Not helped today by three small dogs constantly yapping.Overall, definitely worth adding to your list of venues if you are planning a wedding in North Cumbria.

Beautifully located with stunning views towards Melbreak and Grassmoor Fells. Tastefully converted old farm buildings giving superb venue for weddings up to around 120 guests comfortably.

My husband and myself married at New House Farm in August. It was the most perfect day, the venue was outstanding and Hazel and her team couldn't do enough to help! We had a very small and intimate outdoor ceremony and it was just beautiful! Everything went smoothly and we couldn't imagine a better venue. I would most definitely recommend New House Farm ❤️

Had a fabulous wedding at new house farm!Hazel and her team are amazing and can’t do enough for you they really helped make our day a success.Breakfast in the mornings were delicious and very accommodating for bridesmaids running in and out getting makeup done.Also couldn’t ask for a better location views are stunning as are the house, cart shed and hayloft.Honestly can’t recommend this place enough

We had our wedding here in May 2023 and everything about it was perfect. The location, venue, attention to detail, rooms.... But Hazel really made the 5 star experience. Her experience, help in planning, her reassurance and help coordinating the day and suppliers was incredible. Thank you so much!
