The Fitzwilliam Arms Hotel
The double room was ok. I thought the bed was a bit hard but the bedding was nice. TV was tiny, bathroom was fine. Had I spent around £40 I’d say it was perfectly acceptable, but at £75 for my one night stay I would’ve expected more.

This is a great little hotel. Lots of rooms which are clean but dated. That doesn't matter, the price for the rooms is very competitive. Ive stayed here a couple of times now and have not been disappointed. There's a function room for events, three/four main bar areas... large eating area and plenty of land at the back. Lots and lots of free parking too. Great location to either town or the main motorway networks. Locally there's shopping area within a couple of mins walk as well as cafes and restaurants.

Stayed here this weekend 2nd June until 4th June and was perfect staff very friendly rooms excellent and pricing was perfect as well the bar looked busy a very good place if your looking for hotels for Sheffield arena or meadowhall as only 3 or 4 mile away with good bus roots to both venues plus the super tram down the road not over priced like in Sheffield City centre but perfect for the arena or meadowhall as I said before

The food was delicious, we had the carvery and can't fault it.The place is a bit grotty and I had to get the spray and cloth to wipe down our table as it was mucky and so sticky. The service wasn't bad, had a couple of issues but nothing worth putting on here

The room is comfortable and a decent size for a single. The bed seems comfy, the bedding is soft and the water pressure is great for the shower.

The hotel appears clean.Rooms cost around £40 per night. The entrance is on the main road side of the building. The welcome is friendly and efficient.Staff are nice and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. The shower was comfortably hot. The bathroom tidy and spacious. The window was difficult to open being high up.The keycard operates the electricity if you place it in a slot. No information was given about needing to do this. From reception you walk through a bar area, past pool table and come to rooms and stairs to first floor. They take credit cards. The atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The hotel is near Asda, Aldi, a mile from Tesco Extra, near other retail outlets. The hotel is next to a recycling plant and some noise can come from that.Overall a nice place to stay.

This is not a hotel but a function place with rooms added on. We paid for a night but didn't stay as there was a wedding going on and our room 35 was right above the sound system so there was no way we were going to sleep, and we had travelled 4hrs to get there. My cousin also didn't stay for the same reasonI know it states on their website but it certainly doesn't tell you to expect your room to be vibrating with the musicThe place is old and very dated. Personally they need to scrap the rooms and just have it as a function place and pub.Parents also stayed here in what the hotel classed as a disabled room. It didn't help that we couldn't get mums wheelchair through the corridor door so they could get to their room.Certainly will not stay here again and certainly do not recommend
