I love this long walk.Took me about 2-3hrs depending on stops and which route you take.Full of nature and the walks around the lakes are just beautiful. Not really for pushchairs unless you just walk down to the big house and keep to the main route but not around the lakes.Toilets are CLOSED on weekdays which is very poor.toilets are not open until the weekend so that’s an issue!!!

Such a dreamy place, very secluded and magical feeling. My favourite place to go for a walk.

I like the valley, it makes the view so special from others. There are 3 different walking routes for different levels of walkers. We tried the shortest one which was orange - pretty boring, I was expecting some nice views but there is no views in the route. One thing put us off was the entryway to the car park was unsurfaced. There is a shuttle bus can take you to the cafe. The cafe closed at 4.30pm on the Saturday we visited.

Lovely place for walks. A lot of paths and beautiful area. You can spend hours here just wandering around. There is old house (which looks a bit like ghost house:) and adds to amazing climate of the place) and some lakes. Definitely worth a visit. We are coming here almost every week with our dog. Please mind that at some places dogs need to be kept on the lead as there are some sheep and cows around.

One of my favourite places in the stroud area to go for walk with the dog or with friends. The trails take between 1.5 to 2.5 hours to do depending on which route you take and walking speed but you wont be able to deny the views here are amazing especially in autumn when the leaves are different shades of yellow and red.The mansion itself is always good to visit if the tea rooms are open. Yes it is haunted and yes there are ghost tours for the place which i recommend. The lakes are beautiful, there are normally some fisherman on them.Overall the place is great if you fancy a small hike or you want to tire the kids/ dogs out.In season tickets at car park are £3 for all day. An i believe the gates are open til 8pm

Well worth the trek down from the carpark into the valley below. Did not pay the extra to go into the house but enjoyed the walk around the lake

Such an amazing park for a walk. A walk for every kind of fitness and enthusiasm level. Also some exploring walks for the curious ones like me. :)I did parts of the bigger trails and all of the little one. So much green and so quite it's bliss. Well apart from the people. The bigger tracks are quite for anyone who likes the peace and quite like me.The mansion is also amazing! It was covid times so didn't see the inside but looked so cool from the outside. The ponds are also cool and to see the ducks floating around is just awesome. One thing to remember, no mobile reception. I liked this but something to keep in mind. Also all day parking £3 is just nothing.

Beautiful park and woodlands, with suggested walks of varying lengths to suit people of all abilities, woodland play trail, meadows and paths leading down the valley to Woodchester mansion & series of ponds further along. The mansion (managed by a separate trust) is a amazing place to discover with a fascinating history. Highly recommened to visit!
