We are onto our second website designed and built by Visualsoft and although the service has not been perfect, they have constantly improved their level of service. Therefore on the whole, we would say that they have been good to work with. The new website is performing well backed up by our new account manager Leigh who is very extremely helpful if we ever have an an issue. The marketing services provided continue to drive sales and retain customer loyalty in a highly competitive market.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Visualsoft to potential future clients.

Shocking experience with this company would not recommend unless you want money taking from you and nothing to show for itWe paid this company roughly £8,000 back when launching a project, we transferred ownership from one company to another and visual-soft failed to collect a monthly payment which was their fee to continue using their services for which emails were sent across and are kept as proof. When we finally were ready to launch the website and use it to its full advantage were thrown pillar to post because of people constantly leaving this company (lost count how many account managers we have been through and cant remember half of their names). The final result was that we now need to pay £300 a month and start a new project as they no longer run on the older tariff of around £25 per month fee (I personally know others that are still on the older tariff till this day)Numerous attempts to arrange a meeting were ignored and left us with no website to show for our £8000 fee and were forced to use another tech companyproof for all of the above is kept on recordAvoid at all costs!!

We have been with Visualsoft for a number of years for multiple e-commerce sites. They have handled a variety of online and digital marketing elements. They are always proactive in their approach and excellent strategists. We have to say as our business grows so does theirs, and they continue to offer an excellent managed service, Conor Cooke stands out for us he is a top guy and his account management skills have been second to none.If you are looking to get into the online world then we would recommend giving VS a call to see what they can offer. Excellent understanding of e-commerce best practice to continually drive and improve online sales.

I have used Visualsofts shared success program for both a large established retailer and a relatively new company and unfortunately the experiences that I had with both fell way below the expected mark. Both companies were very successful retailers through other channels whilst Visualsoft quickly became the most expensive, time consuming and worst performing channel. The contract is a minimum of 24 months which is far too long, and locks you in with no chance of escape if things are not going as expected after the first year. Our first issues started at the website build, the expected build time for a new website is 12 weeks. However, despite quickly choosing a template, promptly providing all of the required information to Visualsoft and quickly signing off each section, both builds took around six months to complete. We were at a total loss as to why the builds took so long, you basically pick a range of templates, send a feed, logos etc, yet the whole process seems to be incredibly slow.It is worth noting that we were charged the monthly fee at day one and the monthly direct debits will continue if the site build is late, even if Visualsoft are at fault for the late delivery.Once the site goes live you are assigned an account manager and it becomes almost impossible to speak to the people who you made initial contact with at the presentation stage. Our account managers changed so much we didn’t even meet most of them. We had around six different account managers in the 24 month period. The overall feeling we had was that Visualsoft have far too many clients and not enough staff and once the contract has been signed you just become a number. There were times when the site was worked on by members of staff with questionable ability, some of the PPC executives we spoke to had very basic PPC knowledge and had clearly just graduated from university and had no real experience. The eBay integration was a total nightmare. Our eBay products would randomly go out of stock and Good Till Cancelled listings would close, resulting in us losing years of ebay sales history.Overall the revenue generated from the site and eBay integration were very poor and well below indications presented to us in initial meetings. Once you start complaining about the lack growth the suggestions are to spend more money on marketing, initiatives that ended up costing us further money with no return. As we had started to lose confidence in Visualsofts ability we asked if we could have a free trial of PPC for a few months to demonstrate their effectiveness. Visualsofts response was “why would we do it for free when we have clients who pay us tens of thousands per month for PPC?” Charming. After 18 months on the platform with little success and no indications that things were to improve we attempted to arrange to end the contract early.Instead of offering solutions to increase revenue, Visualsoft threatened us with legal action. We did indeed miss one payment which resulted in us receiving a solicitors letter and our website access was temporarily restricted. Whilst our access to the account was restricted, customers were still able to place orders, yet we were unable to see the addresses to dispatch them, so once we regained access we were met by a group of angry customers who had not received goods they had paid for.Having commissioned the shared success program for both a large online retailer build and a startup it is hard to see why either would be a good fit. If you are a startup the huge monthly cost is probably going to outweigh the affordability, Shopify is a much cheaper option, and the marketing team simply do not have the expertise to grow small unknown brands. If you are a large online retailer turning over in excess of £1m, shared success is likely to cost around £10k per month. In this case you would be much better off employing an experienced digital marketing manager, PPC executive and SEO executive, at least then you will have a team of people who are accountable to your business and who you can let go if they do not perform.

Small Business ReviewAs a small business who has been with Visualsoft for three years, I have always been more than pleased with the help that they have given me.I had no internet knowledge before I joined Visualsoft other than sending the odd email to a customer, so the thought of launching a website for my shop was quite daunting. However I have found the whole process quite easy with the back up of my account manager Stephen and his sales support team. They have always been there for me to make every step of my journey as easy as possible. We integrated our website with Amazon just over a year ago and have been successfully receiving sales ever since.Next month we are going to integrate our Website with EBay to create more sales and after that my Visualsoft managers wants us to consider Frugo which is another selling platform that Visualsoft are now working with.I feel that we are constantly moving forwards with our website and increasing sales due to the help of Visualsoft’s forward thinking account managers and sales team who are always there to help us.Kind regards,Shoe Box Yarm

We recently completed a new website build with Visualsoft. The service from start to finish has been excellent. Our Project Manager Elle made the process easy and enjoyable as well as providing a weekly structure which helped enormously. She's so bubbly and upbeat as well as helpful - a real joy to work with. We'd highly recommend Visualsoft and are looking forward to continuing working with them to increase our online presence. 5* service!

We've been with Visualsoft since 2008 and have 2 websites with them. One of our websites in particular is very successful and responsible for over 90% of our Sales. We've recently moved on to their Optimum monthly package which after a little negotiation and some teething problems seems like good value for money, future proofing our platform in the process.Visualsoft are capable of delivering some beautiful looking websites with excellent functionality as long as you work with them and provide the input they need from you. With the help of Conor and Sam as our go to team members, we've managed to significantly improve what we already considered to be a market leading ecommerce store for our industry.

We've had our ups and downs with Visualsoft but eventually came to a resolution with the team.So far we are happy with the experience (since being resolved which took some time).Definitely starting to move in the right direction with the new company restructure but some support on social etc. would be nice or maybe more live streams so other customers can join in and learn rather than having to go to conferences in mainland UK.Good company when dealing with the right people.

We've been a customer of Visualsoft for 5 years. The website offering is very good. Given how complicated websites can be there are sometimes problems but they're always fixed. The support team are brilliant and in general the stability and reliability of the platform gives huge peace of mind as it's simply something we don't have to worry about.
