Plenty to do whatever the age, from a walk along the fish Quay or drinking in the pubs. North shields has been vastly improved and modernised over the last few years

Large waiting room for days when the weather isn't so good. Ferry every 30 minutes, on the hour and half past the hour from North Shields. Free bus service into town as it's all uphill.

Me and my partner and grandson went to board at northshields and the inspector says card only for payment. We only had cash so he says give me the cash and I will use my personal card to get you all on and says I don't want yous to miss the experience. I hope this guy reads this or management reads this. We're so grateful and humanity isn't dead just yet. We boarded Saturday 9th September and got a return ticket. Thankyou. (He had an American accent).Thankyou sir.

Good service. Seems to be on time whenever I use it. You'd never guess they're ran by Nexus. Staff are good. Nice to sit on the top deck. The ferries are a bit ran down overall, but I guess you're only sat on it for 7 minutes if that. Overall good service and cheap.
