Just returned from a week in Elsie". Jason and his team were friendly and responsive throughout. We toured the lake district and found the van itself to be economical on fuel

We hired from Cumbria Motorhome for 5 days over a weekend in August and had the best experience. The motorhome itself was clean, tidy and very modern. I liked that the rear seats for the kids were proper car seats that folded into the seating area. The main bedroom in the back was incredibly comfortable.However, the best part of the hiring process was the service. It was very easy to hire from Cumbria Motorhome Hire and the website was very easy to navigate.On the day of our hire something went wrong with the water pump/sensor and we had to head back to the site to get it sorted. Not only was it sorted very quickly but we were provided food from Ellie's Food Hut to compensate for our wait time (which wasn't that long).Overall, we were incredibly impressed with Cumbria Motorhome Hire and we are really looking forward to hiring with them again.

Beautifully clean inside and out. Staff really helpful, we were contacted to say we could get the van Friday evening rather than Saturday morning which was fantastic as we were heading to the Hebrides. Luxury accommodation, will use again.

The motorhome drove very well indeed and was surprisingly economical. We drove around the north of Scotland without a hitch. The van was comfortable although we had some problem with the drop-down double bed, but they were very helpful over the phone - even on a Sunday. The security process was tiresome, but I understand that this is required by the insurers, and I would suggest lots of paper towels or dishcloths to wrap up cutlery and crockery!I would certainly reccommend Cumbria Motorhome Hire to others - even OAPs (which we are..)

This is the second time I have used Cumbria Motorhome Hire and I will be a returning customer again next year! We had Ellie for our trip over to the NE coast and she had everything we needed and plenty of room. The onsite staff were really friendly and helpful and the van was exceptional clean.Thank you

We hired a van from this company to go to music festival, as there was no way we were going to camp for five days!Everything was spot-on with the van, the only niggle was the breakfast table at the back of the van. I’ve been installed wrong and therefore the table was on an angle. So no good to use.It was fantastic after a full day of rocking out to go back to a bed and wake up with the ability to make a proper coffee!!!We found the staff are very helpful. We are organised to have a late check out, but in the end and didn’t need it. The late check out fee was refunded with no quibbles.The only thing that was a problem was the amount of sap that came off the tree, where are cars were parked under!Next time we will park on the lower yard.All in all very happy and already planning to hire again next year

Thank you for a lovely mid week break with Elsie the Motorhome.We was met by Becky who showed us around our new home for the week and was very impressed with the service we received.The Motorhome was lovely and clean, prepared and ready to explore.!Came with a full tank of fuel, gas and water.First time in a Motorhome for my wife and I and was a bit nervous at first driving a large unit but it was surprisingly easy to drive and soon settled into a comfortable drive. Very good on fuel too!We toured around the Lake District for the five days, stopping at three campsites, all of which were quiet after the Easter break, so had no trouble booking a pitch for the night.The Motorhome itself was well equipped for what we needed it for and the heating was great during the cold nights.Having a bed ready to jump into was great, no need to set it up to sleep.Tv reception was also good too.!When we returned the Motorhome at the end of our break we were welcomed with very cheerful staff and once the checks were done, with no issues to report, we unloaded and went about our way.To sum up, good value, great service, friendly staff, loved the Motorhome and can highly recommend this firm if you wish to have a break away in a motorhome. !Thank you Becky for all your help.
