Hounds & Heritage Weddings

We initially booked Jemma to look after both our dogs on site at our wedding venue. To cut a long story short unfortunately one of our dogs got a terminal cancer diagnosis and in return our other dog started becoming aggressive in indoor spaces. When we spoke this through with Jemma she recommended two chaperones would be better for our circumstances. The lengths Jemma went to to help solve this problem were so above and beyond - she spoke to some other people in the industry and was able to find someone else to help on short notice.Throughout the planning process and on the day it really came across that the dogs needs came first and foremost. She met Murphy and Luna on 3 separate occasions on the lead up to ensure they were happy and comfortable around her. She also asked what we wanted from the dogs on the day to ensure they were included in all the moments we hoped for.On the day I couldn’t have asked for more. I had complete trust that they were well looked after and pampered all day. In the morning they were even groomed before meeting and greeting and were fluffy as can be! She also worked with the photographer to get the best possible photos on the day- just look at the results!! We even got updates on what Luna had been up to throughout the day.If you are planning on having your dog as a part of your day then I really truly recommend Jemma as your dog chaperone.
