Top quality tools and everything to sate your woodworking needs and luckily for me on my doorstep in Didcot. If they haven't got it in stock they will get you things in. Excellent customer service, Peter's no-nonsense approach experience and sage advice is to be commended. As a beginner in wood turning, I have felt very well looked after and have been supplied with apt information with every tool sale or project that I have discussed.

We drove 120 miles round trip on Saturday after double checking website to ensure the shop would be open at 9.30 am as stated. Arrived at 9.45. Shop shut. Notice on the door stated 9.30am also. Waited around for an hour. Telephoned several times. No answer. Drove home empty handed and disappointed. Thank you..

I ordered a set of Journeyman gouges on Sunday night and they arrived earlier this morning, Tuesday. The quality looks excellent and the price was good, so all-round, a very satisfied customer

Truly objectionable & unhelpful owner. I was a loyal customer having bought many products from him. I will be no longer! The level of customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced.Twice I have had cause to contact him with genuine concerns & twice I have been met with sarcasm/scorn. Zero help over the recent safety concerns of the Powercap respirators that he continues to sell (research them before you buy!). Axminster refunded their customers when they bought the same product. The lesson is: don't support this business as they don't care about your safety, only their profits.The level of service is echoed by how archaic the website is.How he expects to retain customers with the belittling manner that he has astounds me.

Started wook working and turning a year ago, with my 13 year old son. Found this place and they have been great, first with accessories, chisels etc. and then eventually upgrading with a new lathe. Always very practical and not out to just sell product but help you with making the best choices. Definitely my first go to place. I will be trying my best to support them during these tough days, since I would hate to see them gone, for somewhat selfish reasons. All the best

I'm so glad I found this shop I'm new to wood carving I explained this to the gentleman he was so very helpful and understanding explained about the strop and when I asked if I needed a certain knife he explained that I didn't so I didn't need to order it and the wood is lovely I most recommend this place for your every needs and the service was very prompt order my goods Tues night not far from when they were closing and they were delivered Thurs so very quick I will be recommending to people I know that's for sure and coming back thank you sam

Not used their online side, but the shop is a real treat. Though a bit of a rabbit warren of goodies the shop is well stocked and staffed by helpful friendly staff.They are very knowledgeable and willing to help giving candid views of what is a good solution to a problem.Good for both new comers and more experienced turners their range of tools, wood and knowledge is top notch and their prices are not too bad either.

I am relatively new to craft and woodwork, its such a benefit being able to discuss your ideas and requirements with someone who is genuinely interested in what you are doing, great advice, premium products, top service. For a novice like me the showroom is ideal as they sell a wide range of options to suit varying ability and budget.
