Not what it was. Free speech is no longer permitted. Now run by an overbearing and 'old school tie' committee, who are nothing more than talking heads, I received a lifetime ban for using words and actions that don't fit their agenda yet my words and actions 30+ years ago built the Society. I should know: I started it. Here's one to all the folks that turned their backs.

I visited there over 20 years ago after promising myself I would always go while it was in Backhouse Park. I was blown away by the knowledge and equipment. The gentleman who made a special journey was so kind to my young son and I. l now hope to be able to take my grandson. Recommend to anyone. It’s awesome ❤️

Now open on Thursday and Sunday from 7pm till 9pm for full members and members of the public
