Several times I have tried to get through to the eye clinic today. Each time I ring I choose the correct option and after several rings I get cut off. Not only is it costing me to make these calls but I give up trying to get through. I will not be attending and that will be another missed appointment that someone else could have had.Edit: yet another appointment and same issue trying to get through on the phone, disgraceful telephone service.

Boots Opticians referred me to the hospital (probably get an appointment in 4-6 weeks but actually got one 3 days later) - the hospital staff treated me politely and professionally and all tests done with care.

A regular watering hole averaging at least 4x a year but staff always helpful. Most appts do take time and I advise a pack-up and drinks (flask for winter) as the vending machines are extortionate!

Following an appointment at my opticians when she found a foreign body in my left eye, I was referred to the eye hospital on 12/08/2022. All of the staff that I came into contact with were first class. Caring, understanding & very professional. From arriving to leaving my wait time was about 90 minutes. The doctor who attended me removed the foreign body from my eye without any problem. A first class experience which left me feeling full of confidence should I ever need to return. Thank you all.

What a wonderful team at the eye hospital! Everyone I encountered - admin staff, nurses, operating theatre team etc were so friendly, reassuring and helpful. Mr Vize, who performed my operation, is clearly a master of his craft and provided very clear information during my consultation and throughout the op. Even the theatre playlist appears to have been tailored to lighten the atmosphere. I had difficulty keeping a straight face when ‘The Eye of the Tiger’ started playing! Thank you to everyone for a first rate experience.

long wait as it was out of hours and busy. The Scottish doctor I saw was very caring knowledgeable and thoughtful and sorted out my problem whilst I was there. I was treated so well many thanks

I rang to find out if my mum was on the list for an appointment at the eye clinic, I spoke to staff nurse Keith and he was wonderful, very helpful, he went above and beyond and got my mum an appointment for the following Wednesday, he was amazing. All the staff at the appointment were very friendly and efficient and they sorted my mums problem.

I have been in and out of hospitals and clinics so many times, but Eye hospital is the best ever. All the staff are so lovely, polite, friendly and efficient. Plus you can ask anything and they always have the answer. Thank you.❤️
