Pets at Home St Albans
Has some small, furry animals to look at as well as some fish. Then there is of course the large selection of pet toys, cages, enclosures, food and other stuff. Staff are always friendly and mostly the prices are very good too.

Pets at Home St Albans
Tried to return faulty pet house bought in store, which had screws too small for the strength of the lid mechanism, making the hinge come away from the unit and split the wood after a couple of uses. Manager said it was broken not faulty - assume that means I broke it and I’m a liar. Told me to phone customer services. Customer services tells you to go online then cuts you off. Online tells you it can only be dealt with in store

We had an amazing experience buying our first pet (A very cute hamster named Beatrice, who we rehomed) and were assisted by two extremely helpful staff members. James (apologies if I have spelt the name wrong), who was very efficient and helped us to sort out the logistics of purchasing our pet and Courtney, who was incredibly knowledgeable. She helped us to, not only, understand what was best to buy but also what we would need when caring for them day to day. Could not recommend them enough and will use them again.

Big store, has groomers and vets located in store. Staff are very helpful. Large range of animal food and essentials, sells fish/ fish tanks. Has small animals for sale to (mice/hamsters/rabbits and guine pigs. Animals donation box also inside store. Car park out front with disable bays.

Such impressive service, actually the best retail customer service I receive. I know its amazing because even my dad commented on how great it is and he's hard to please! The staff are so knowledgeable and actually take the time to help you.
