As a long time customer of Goldsmiths I must say my experience at the Canterbury showroom has been one I would like to forget. After receiving a scratched ring, (failed duty to inspect the condition before selling), confusion as to how to get my replacement ring, had to order one online myself, and get quizzed about my return, then I had to ask for water as nothing (on both visits) was offered. Just a horrible experience!

I was fortunate enough that a piece I'd waited a long time for had become available. David was professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with - highly recommend and look forward to being a customer in the future

A Special thanks to the team at Canterbury, David, Ben, Nicole and Jasper for my recent watch purchase. I had ordered the watch and waited some time for it to come in. When it did arrive i booked the appointment to collect the watch, but then could not make the appointment due to a sudden emergency hospital appointment. The team went above and beyond protocol to hold the watch for a further week much to my relief and i can not thank them enough. As always the team were highly professional very helpful and accommodating on my arrival and through out my time in store.A big thanks to Ben for his compassion, apologies to Nicole for missing the first appointment and a Special thanks to Jasper for all his help and serving me on the day. I visited on 05/11/23 and with my partner and we were looked after by James. Although he is relatively new, he was absolutely lovely. James came across very genuine, knowledgeable and incredibly professional. I have visited this store on and off for the last 5 or 6 years and made several purchases, but have never felt so welcome. Thank you James! :-)

I was initially looking at 3 different models, each from a different brand. Wanting to see them first hand, and try them on .Making an appointment to see someone in advance was a great choice.We had a couple of calls leading upto the day, to ensure we were to arrive as planned, and to see if we wanted anything special ordered in to drink.We had coffees on the day which were very nice, served with an after eight. We could have had beer, champagne etc, from the fully stocked bar instead.Jack, the Breitling specialist was incredibly helpful, leading us to a table with a mirror, and comfortable leather chairs. We never felt rushed and were with him for about an hour and a half.Jack let us see as many watch models as we liked, and I tried on at least 10 models, he was very knowledgeable about them all. After showing Jack a photograph of my existing collection he gave me really useful comments as to what might go well in the collection.It was a wonderful buying experience, that made the day for us.
