I met Jerry, Jerry is a delight, he's considerate, makes great conversation, and made every effort to help me collect my cat, Trjegul from his breeder, I genuinely enjoyed his company on the journey.Jerry asked to see the cat, but desipe driving at low speed, and turning off the music, Trje wanted to hide, so a picture is included I hope he sees.Jerry is an asest, deserves a raise, and gets five gold stars.Cheers Pal.Getting a taxi, conversely is a nightmare, the website crashes, the autoline results in a 20 minitue wait with no car, and I'm not buying a £80 phone to download an app.If I cant use these things at 30, I suspect someone at 60 would have an even worse time, and since I can't rate Jerry alone, I have to subtract two stars.

Used this service a few times. Won't be using again. My 80 year old parents were in my garden and we heard the call to say taxi had arrived. Now this is where things went pear shaped. The call must have come through after the taxi had arrived because as soon as the call came through we started moving round the front, but my neighbour informed us the taxi had just left! Then trying to call them back was a nightmare. We were frustrated as the girl kept telling us don't speak to me like that. We were trying to get our point across that we needed another taxi and not to charge a second time as my parents were elderly and infirm, but she told us yes we were being charged again. Second taxi didnt appear and my parents were waiting ages and very tired, so we asked a family friend to take them home. Not using this service again. I'd rather speak to someone on the phone to book and pay the taxi driver instead of an app. I've been charged a no show fee too. Poor service all round. It's not so much the driver that's at fault, but the telephonist who wasn't listening and should have understood the frustration and that not every no show is someone who just didn't bother to show up. A bit of compassion wouldn't have went a miss. The call to inform the client that taxi has arrived should be a good couple of minutes beforehand to give clients time to get prepared. Customer service training is needed here. I'll use another taxi service from now on

My husband booked a taxi for the morning, it ended up not coming and he didn’t receive any messages or calls. However the dispatcher was trying to convince us they called him couple of times but he didn’t show up.

My 16 year old daughter and friends pre booked a taxi to be picked up tonight. It’ didn’t show and now they are being told this joke of a taxi service is fully booked!’ We all know the taxi guys don’t want to take bookings through card payment because they don’t get paid for at least 2 weeks later, yet the only way to book is through the app. Shocking service from what used to be reliable company.

I don't use taxi's very often however on Friday night I needed one. I used the app and booked it around 5pm. I got a notification saying my driver was coming, this disappeared. Same thing happened again with a different driver name. It was around 5.45 i decided to phone to see what was happening and the customer service i got was not good. I started explaining what had happened and the girl rudely interrupted me to tell me they were really busy but she would pass my comments (that she never even bothered listening to) onto her supervisor which wasn't helpful as all I needed to know was roughly how much longer it would be. This girls tone was very uninterested and i feel she should be spoken to by her manager to be honest about her attitude. She was about to hang up without saying bye or anything and I asked how long roughly it could be as we had somewhere we needed to be (not expecting it to take this long) and she interrupted me AGAIN and said sorry i dont know how long it will be but i will try and get your booking pushed" along then hung the phone up. Needless to say...i cancelled my booking and found an alternative. Never had an issue before and I am so dissapointed that I felt like I had to do this review in the hope that improvements are made especially with regards to the poor customer service."

Pre-booked a taxi to ensure that I made it on time to an appointment. The taxi didn't turn up at the pre-booked time and after 15 minutes of waiting I called to find out how much longer it would be and was told all cars were busy and they couldn't tell me how much longer I'd have to wait. What is the point in pre-booking if they don't appoint a car for the booked time? Utter rubbish. I had to get a family member to drive me and was late for my appointment.

As if it's not bad enough that they totally rob you, customer service is severely lacking and just tell you anything regardless of it being true or not, the app rarely seems to work properly, drivers refuse to let you pay with card, don't show up on time and then charge you a cancellation fee (the list is endless), it appears that it is now impossible to get a taxi to work on a Sunday morning due to lack of drivers which is a bit of a joke considering the area in which the company is supposed to serve and the fact that there is little to no public transport at such a time. The other recent reviews speak volumes, and It baffles me how shockingly bad this company has become recently. The sooner another comes in to replace it, the better. Shame you can't give less than a one-star review, or they'd be getting one. Won't be using them again.

I recently was in a cab booked by a friend with Renfrewshire Cab Company. We booked our cab from Glasgow to an address in Houston, assuming that it wouldn’t be an issue in adding further stops (it hadn’t been in the past - after all a bigger fee for the driver!). As I got into the car however, and asked the driver whether we could add another stop in the same village but we were told in no way this would be possible!As a result, I had to book another taxi after arriving to this initial destination to take me to my home address! Complete inflexibility by a driver who evidently didn’t know the local area either!This will make me think twice about using Renfrewshire Cab Co. again given alternatives are available!

Been using the Renfrewshire Cab app for a number of months now and noticed that some of the journeys had an “ADDITIONAL FEE” and some never… some of the journeys where between 20p and 40p more… seems like nothing but all adds up!So tonight I had taken 2 taxis and been charged the extra fee twice both of these at 40p each! I phoned the operator and got through to what could only be described as useless… with zero customer service experience and sounded like she had just got out of her bed… First off she blatantly lied by saying the fees where “FUR USIN’ EH APP” itself, (in her own words) the operator was speaking to myself abruptly but kept saying I was the one being rude… I was then told to call back on Monday to speak to a manager, when I asked for her name I was told “A DON’T HUV TAE GEE YE MA NAME” (you can probably tell with the way I’m typing this customer service skills are non existent to this operator) I then asked for a managers name for Monday and was told again “JUST ASK FUR EH MANAGER”Funnily enough I was then put on hold and was put through to a supervisor who instantly had a professional manner by the tone of her voice, seemed very informative and most important PROFESSIONAL! The supervisor checked our journey history and explained the additional fees (which is the exact reason why I called) after a 20 mins call we finally got our answers… which I will explain now!!ADDITIONAL FEES: these fees are added when you are in the taxi itself and have been waiting at TRAFFIC LIGHTS!! (So if you take a route that has loads of traffic lights your fees will go up every time you sit at a RED LIGHT) These fees are NOT waiting fees by the taxi driver!!Anyway… now I am aware of these charges I won’t be using the service where possible… please be aware of CASH PAYING CUSTOMERS these charges are already included which you WOULDN’T BE AWARE OF!

Absolute rip off. Quoted £7 for a journey charged £15.80. Double the price with no warning for a 7 minute drive to airport form Linwood. Lunch time on a Tuesday hardly peak time. No where on the app or booking states surplus charge to airport. Absolute scam
