I can’t compliment this store enough! I visited a few weeks ago for an eye test and then a glasses fitting.There was no wait really and i was guided through the whole process.The staff were all so lovely and friendly.Even when I went to collect my glasses on Saturday, the staff were super helpful.The store takes covid precautions seriously, so I felt really safe.Again, lovely visit and I would give 6 stars if I could!Tip: You are lucky to park outside, but you can park in Asda a few doors down for 2 hours for free.

I have shopped at Specsavers for over 30 years but their prices have just crept up and up and my last experience at this branch was pretty bad. I tried to take advantage of their 2 for 1 deal but they recommended that with my prescription I would need the second level of lens thinning which adds £80 PER PAIR - with reactions in one pair they quoted me £350 essentially. When I challenged them and said I didn't think this represented good value they bluntly just said good luck getting it cheaper anywhere else

Zoe the optician, was excellent in her approach and professionalism. However Martin was rude in both his manner and approach to the customer.Clearly put out and belittling to my wife. Very unimpressed with his service.

Called the store to cancel my order as I can no longer get there to pick up my glasses.Got told the order was cancelled, and to attend the store to get my refund.Surely if I was able to attend the store, I would have just picked up the glasses..? No alternative method was offered, just to attend the store within a week to collect the refund. :S

Frustrating to be given an appointment at 9am, but the store only opens at 9:03 and then I'm seen at 9:10. The actual appointment is great and the optician is really helpful, but when taking time out of work and needing to get to work afterwards I would appreciate them being on time especially as the first appointment of the day.

After years of trying, these fabulous people have guided me to being a contact lens wearer. They were SO patient and helpful. I will be forever grateful for being freed from glasses. Zoe, Victoria and Nichola? in particular. Sorry if I forgot anyone, (I'm old! ).

Brilliant experience. I hadn’t had my eyes tested in a while and was a bit nervous. As it had been so long. If you do get worried, anxious or scared please ask for Zoe. She was amazing and so reassuring. She just made it more fun and explained things throughout.I hope she is still there in 2 years time.Also turned out I needed glasses so I had help from a young girl there who helped me choose glasses to suit my face. Unfortunately I couldn’t remember her name. However all the staff there were really nice.Thank you all

Thoroughly recommend this store.I had a very detailed eye examination and all issues were well explained. I felt extremely well looked after and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
