Time For You (Newport) Domestic Cleaning

I found the owners to be helpful and prompt with my initial query. The subsequent cleaning service was just what I needed to relieve the burden from myself!The cleaner was polite and did a good job in the time that she had every fortnight.Personally I have found it to be a great service, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to friends & family.

Concept: I bought a maisonete with garden in Newport in July 2021, where I live on my own. Very soon, I realized that it would be impossible to clean this property without help. I have busy professional life at weekdays (Monday to Friday) and I'm socially busy at weekends. And at the end of the day, I have almost zero energy for chores.Jane (manager): On 27/10/2021, she visited me at home to discuss about my requirements. She is always very helpful and responds very quickly to my queries.Service: Domestic cleaning every fortnight for 2 hours. Garden cleaning on ad-hoc basis.Kayleigh (cleaner): Excellent quality of work. When I'm back from breakfast (I go usually for breakfast in Hortons Coffee House, while she is working), my house is tidy and my clothes washed/ironed. Her strongest point is gardening. She is friendly and approachable.Prices: I pay the company £64.35 every 3 months and Kayleigh (roughly) £11 - £12 per hour.

Our housekeeper, Karen, is brilliant, she does an amazing job. Have found Time For You to be really professional and am happy to recommend them.

Wow, and without prejudice, after the service we had I'm astonished these people are still in business.It took several weeks and chasing to get them to return our calls - we didn't have a lot of choice as we are in a rural location otherwise we would have given upThe first cleaner they sent arrived and after telling us her life story- which was not very reassuring, but the cleaners are very thoroughly checked apparently, I mean you have to be getting some added value for the ongoing 'management fee I guess- we left her to get on with it. I returned to find very poor work done and cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms myself. When I bought this up with Jane she was very surprised there was a problem and said the cleaner may have simply run out of time.After several more requests from me, Jane found us a lovely lady (Julie) who would have been fine. Unfortunately several weeks later - after the first 'cleaner' was no longer working for us, our house was robbed while we were away. They took everything of value as well as STEALING ALL THE COPPER PIPING AND OUR COPPER WATER TANK AND LEAVING OUR HOUSE FLOODED AND UNINHABITABLE. We then sadly had no use for Julie until we sorted out the flood damage and made it habitable again.There is no hard evidence, but it did seem a coincidence that we were robbed in this way directly after the departure of our first cleaner having had no trouble for 5 years prior to this, and that someone knew the house would be empty.The final, in my view, unprofessional and inexplicable act was when, after I had been remiss in cancelling the direct debit to Jane and Ashely's business account that they insist you set up to pay the monthly 'management fee' I finally cancelled it and contacted Jane to discuss getting a refund for the 12 months fees they had accrued for doing absolutely nothing, she said any refund was going to be possible. She was deeply sympathetic about our robbery however.It's very difficult to understand or explain how people reviewing here could have had such widely differing experiences concerning this company and their professional conduct.

I have used this business for a number of years to find cleaners to clean my mother's house weekly. Every time I need to contact the company I find that they get back to me quickly. The latest cleaners that Jane has found for my mother are brilliant. They are friendly and great with my mother. They also go the extra mile to make the house pleasant for my mum to be in. I am extremely pleased with the prompt service that I get.

I use Time For You to clean my mums house as she is elderly and has alzheimer's. The lady who goes regularly is lovely. She is very friendly, has got to know mum. Is efficient, does an excellent job. I couldn't be happier. 10 out of 10.

The thing that impressed us most was that the ladies are called housekeepers and not cleaners which implies that they are caring for our house. Lauren was very friendly but at the same time professionally painstaking, making for a most pleasant experience.

Excellent service! My aunt is really happy with her 2-hour weekly clean. The cleaner goes out of her way to help her keep her house in order, and the place is gleaming and smells fresh when she's finished. Thank you very much.

I have been using this service for a number of months, particularly to help with the cleaning the house at a very stressful and busy period of my life. The cleaners were approachable and very thorough with areas of the house that they are cleaning. The company was also very flexible with arranging alternate cleaning days etc. I would highly recommend this company.
