A comparative newcomer - but a very welcome one - to the list of Edinburgh's independent record shops. It's handily located in Bruntsfield Place, on the 11, 16 and 23 bus routes - watch out for a canary-yellow shopfront on the left-hand side as the bus heads towards Morningside, get off at the next stop and walk back about 25 metres - and it offers a huge range of new records from mainstream pop / rock (shelf display classifications: 'Poppy' / 'Rocky'!) to obscure indie, soul, hip hop, world, electronica, jazz. There are 45s and cassettes too. Something for everyone, and even if the record you want isn't in stock, Mark and his staff will go to no end of trouble to get it for you. The shop operates a loyalty points system. Highly recommended.

10/10 recommend. Mark always has what you want, or will order in and keep aside for you. I'm relatively new to the world of vinyl and I've always felt welcome in here. Friendly with great customer service. I like this place that much that I travel in from the 'burbs for all my musical needs. Thanks guys!

Great local record store! Work colleagues gave me a gift voucher and I spent an hr+ browsing with no pressure by staff. Had a great collection of variety of vinyl. Relaxed atmosphere and will definitely be back.
