My experience with Richard Russell Surveyors was 100% positive.Richard and James were both responsive and helpful by telephone and email, the administration is efficient and friendly. Overall excellent customer service. The Homebuyer report I commissioned was detailed, delivered earlier than expected, and proved very useful in negotiations with the vendor. No hesitation in a 5-star recommendation.

A professional service from beginning to end. We are first time buyers and the advice that Richard provided was incredibly useful. He noted our concerns during the pre-survey meeting and highlighted these during the survey itself. The post-survey meeting was a great opportunity to ask any remaining questions. The survey report itself was provided within 48 hours and was exceptionally detailed with drone photos to allow viewing of the roof. Richard was able to fit our meetings around our busy work schedule and was very accommodating in this regard. I would have no hesitation in recommending Richard Russell Surveyors to any prospective buyers!

Great experience using RR surveyors - not the cheapest L3 + drone survey we could find but undoubtedly the most thorough.We had a helpful pre-survey consultation to discuss some areas of the property we were particularly keen to know more about, within 2 days of the survey we had the report in our inbox which was excellent. Really detailed and helped us feel more informed with our purchase.Following the survey, James was happy to assist us with clarifying a few areas we wanted to understand more about.All in all an excellent service - thank you!

James provided detailed and clear information on a level 2 survey or a property that if I had bought would have burden me with expensive repairs and possibly difficult to sell onwards. Very approachable and happy to discuss any details I did not understand. A second survey on a second property was provided at reduced charge and they were sensitive to my needs and provided guidance on structural consideration I should look at before proceeding with a sale offer. I would highly recommend this company. The personal touch is very welcome in a digital world!

We recently received a level 3 survey from Richard and were very impressed with the service from start to finish. Richard was super helpful and always at hand to answer questions we had before and after receiving the report, and managed to fit us into his schedule earlier than originally anticipated which we were very grateful for. The report was turned around really quickly and was easy to follow and understand. We opted to add on the drone photography and glad we did as Richard was able to comment on issues which we weren’t aware of given they were not visible to the eye. We would highly recommend Richard Russell Surveyors, particularly if you are taking on a complicated, old, listed building. Richard Peck took the time to meet with us several times to talk us through some of the initial issues that came up with the house, and his knowledge and experience was very reassuring. During the whole process he helped us to understand more about traditional buildings and some of the issues that are particular to them. Following the extensive (105 pages) and very detailed report Richard produced - within the three working days he promised - we felt we had a thorough understanding of the positive features of the house, along with the things we would need to do immediately, or things that could wait until a later date. We knew we could put our trust in the report as we made decisions going forward and it was reassuring to hear that Richard would also be there to offer help and support after the survey. All in all, it was really valuable to have access to Richard’s knowledge and expertise during the process and the service provided was thorough and professional.

When I first contacted Richard Russell Surveyors I asked the question ''what benefits may I see from using your services over an above me getting a builder and electrician to inspect ?'' From very early in discussion with James Moore it was clear to me a detailed survey and drone inspection may prove invaluable and than transpired to be the case, some significant issues were identified during the survey that enables me to secure financial contribution from the vendors towards rectification work. in parallel the 72 page detailed survey gave me a head start prioritising other work required in advance of and after completion of the purchase. Richard Russel Surveyors services were worth every penny from a financial perspective but also complete peace of mind. Thanks to James and the team for a very comprehensive report and all their support during the purchase of my new home.
