Talgarth

I ordered rolls through cwtch baker rolls came from Talgarth, they were disgusting stale broke up when cut, I was at an event. STAY WELL CLEAR I do not recommend this bakery

Very fine Welsh Cakes - on a par with Tan Y Castell which is high praise indeed !

I bought one of their custard slices in a local Spar, I can hardly describe the taste, but I'm pretty sure it's what heaven tastes like, every time I eat one of them it's like every molecule in the custard slice is giving me a hug. I have crippling anxiety and agoraphobia and I used to never go outside because of it, but since trying their custard slices I am able to walk to my local shop once a week just to get these because they're so good it makes the trip outside worth it. Not only that, but I am certain that their custard slices are what the Gods on mount Olympus called ambrosia. The only bad thing about their custard slices is that since trying them all other brands taste terrible compared to Talgarths.

Talgarth bakery is run so unprofessional. the management are very rude and speak to people with no respect and the supervisors have no clue what they're doing!

Yummy range of delicious baked goods. I'm a particular fan of their cream cakes. Their goods are sold in local shops throughout south Wales. Support local business as best and as often as you can. Much nicer than another nationwide bakery chain!

Jam Welsh Cakes.While they are a cake and they are made in Wales, no way are they Welsh Cakes. they are a jam sponge, and while they taste very nice I repeat they are not a Welsh Cake, they are baked not griddled and the texture is all wrong.
