Such a lovely place to walk the dog, all other owners are friendly and responsible. I don't think I've ever seen dog fowl there. It is small so perfect for all sizes of dog as there's a shorter flatter walk or you can go off into fields and rougher terrain.

lovely during the winter, especially with the snow. only a little slippy and not too many people around so you can take your mask off for a bit.

Nice to have in an urban area, but council have done very little to maintain. Paths are overgrown, wooden walkway closed. Would love to know where all my council tax goes as it's not here!!!

Visited in Sep 2021.It was a nice walk by the stream but the path was not v well maintained and fairly quiet in the morning.There was a short bridge half way along the path. The western side of the stream was more pleasant.

Friends of Highgate Wood, a community group, manage this wood situated in the middle of an urban setting. No signs of litter or flytipping. Variety of terrains. Great for dogs. Can be a little slippy under foot, so walking shoes not trainers.

Beautiful wood, would be great for taking a dog for a walk with beautiful scenery. Very tranquil environment that would be good for those who need to take time away from there everyday and relax.
