Great: set menu prices are great price. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere in and outside pubDo better: we set up loyalty card in app and then ordered from table. When asked how to claim loyalty after meal told we couldn’t, to get you need to order food at the bar. The app or nowhere said to do this. Either clearly let people know or add code or something that can be claimed later so not to lose out. I imagine a few people do this and lose out. Also I’m disabled and only 1 table outside (which was occupied) has proper chairs with backrest and the barrel table and chairs are too high. Would be great to have more proper chairs. I love to sit outside

3rd time visiting and it will be my last. Poor service mainly. Food is nothing special but for the price is okay. Did the 3 course for £11.99 for three course's. First two course was fine and out at a reasonable time, when it come to the desert we had already paid for the deal mentioned above we waited 45 minutes for someone to clear the plates from the main course (never happened) and chased up the desserts twice and on the second request we asked for two of the deserts to be boxed up as now two members of our party had to leave. 5 minutes later they come out with them on the plates. Second time requesting for it to be boxed up and waiting about 10 minutes. They had no interest in us after the mains, didn't get the apology that you would expect either! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Great - It's dog friendly and parking is easy. Not great - slow meal service considering the pub was fairly quiet, tasteless chips and peas, the 'thick cut' gammon was thin and small. Very untidy bar area with glasses stacked high and cleanliness in gents toilet left a lot to be desired. I have been coming here for some years and the quality of the food in particular has certainly deteriorated.

Had the Rib eye steak which was ok ,but at nearly £17 you would of expected more than half a mushroom and the onion rings were rock solid

Lovely, warm and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I had the steak on ciabatta bread with salad on the side.

We were debating where to go for dinner and my wife chose here. What a fantastic decision. We had one of the best meals I've ever had in almost 50 years. The service and help we got from Abbey, Tom and Tracey were 2nd to none to start with. We got a couple of drinks to start with, reasonable price and exactly what we wanted, and bought to the table by very friendly staff. Wanting to order food, I ordered the nacho starter expecting it to be small but as I like hot sauces, I asked the barman what was available to go with my main meal. He came back and said they can do me a hot sauce with mine, so I ordered the rack of ribs and the sauce and my wife's fish and chips. The starter came out and it was the biggest and nicest bowl of nachos we've ever had with loads of dipping sauces. I must say I was stuffed after just that. But then the dinners came out. The plates were huge and looked absolutely gorgeous with stacks of food on them. Super impressive and the food was to die for. The sauce was absolutely to die for and I knew the chef had made it specially for me. Words cannot express how nice both meals were and everytime now we go to Blackpool, we are going to make a special trip back to this pub. would recommend it 1000% if you are hungry and near enough to visit it. The pictures I've posted should say it all, and it was a really good price aswell

Nice place, food average, service very slow. We waited almost an hour between starters and main course and it wasn't really overly busy. The food was a bit overpriced for what I got tbh but saying that I probably would go again.

Poorly run pub. Arranged for a nice Sunday meal only to find out all the pumps were off, there was no Sunday roast and no sirloin steak. Very few options of bottled beers and nothing but excuses from the chap behind the bar. Tried to make the best of it and ordered a mixed grill. Then spent an hour waiting for it to arrive. Avoid this place.
