Karma Jewellery and piercing studio Dundee

I went to visit a friend in Dundee and found this shop. I wanted to change my silver nose stud for a gold nose stud. I went home with the gold stud and realised I couldn’t fit it in myself. So I went back to the shop, and it turned out my piercing hole was getting closed up, so I had to get my nose pierced again to fit it in. The owner who did the piercing was absolutely amazing and friendly. And she did it for free for me. I loved the staff as well, the were very patient with me and my friends. They use numbing creams as well, which I didn’t have the option for when I got my nose pierced somewhere else. I recommend 100%. Especially if you’re new to piercing and don’t want any pain.

Wow Karma !! What an awful dreadful humiliating experience. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, But EXCELLENT ABUSE. Took back faulty jewellery and was not offered a replacement, repair or any refund. Did not even look at my receipt of purchase. I was told I broke my own jewellery and she didn't want to know or care about anything else.The manageress, locks you in the shop and then argues and antagonises you, so that she can accuse you of abuse. Shocking experience !Please note

I took my daughter in to get her ears pierced today and I couldn't have picked a better place to go. The lady who was peircing my daughters ears was absolutely amazing and made my daughter feel very comfortable, we were only in the shop not even 10 minutes and it was done. The receptionist was very nice also. I would highly recommend going to karma jewellery and piercings.

I bought silver earrings from this shop and they are really lovely and excellent value for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I will definitely be going back to buy something else. They have an extensive array of jewellery to choose from. Well worth a visit.

I got both nipples pierced on Thursday by Yvonne. I was sooo nervous about the pain, but the pain was honestly a 1/10. Yvonne was lovely and reassuring and they look great

I went to Yvonne for my ear piercings and belly piercing, i would highly recommend both Karma and Yvonne, the care and after care is amazing, they made me feel calm and explained the procedure as well as showing my the sealed jewellery, professional and clean throughout, would go again

Nice jewellery on sale but the piercing process itself was unprofessional. Pierced my lobes with what I can only presume to be one of those disposable piercing guns that pierces the ear with the jewellery itself. It certainly wasn’t an actual piercing needle, anyway. Was given no countdown or direction to take a breath in when my ear was being pierced - sure, I may have lots of ear piercings already, but it’s always nice to receive a warning. The floor staff were at least kind and the piercer/manager and I had a nice bit of small talk, but I did not receive the standard of piercing procedure that I would expect for the price.

Brought my wee boy here to get his ear pierced, he didn’t even cry and my daughter wanted her belly button pierced, I was totally shocked because my daughter is scared of things like this, she said she didn’t feel a thing the lady spoke to her about day to day stuff distracting her made her feel relaxed and comfortable…. was defo worth the drive from Glasgow and we will be back in the future!

Wow .. what an amazing place. I first went into karma and they had the tragus piercing on the piercing of the week. Fab service as soon as I entered the shop. The young lady who did my piercing was so experienced and she talked to me all the way through the procedure really making me feel at ease. Before leaving the shop I spoke to a lovely lady and showed her the piercing I had done 6 weeks earlier while in Turkey, the industrial one , but it had 2 studs in it and no bar.she had a look at it for me, and told me it still hadn’t healed yet, she told me what to do over the next 4 weeks and to return and she would fit the bar in it for me. I returned 4 weeks later , and she remembered who I was, and recommended that I get a simple titanium bar incase of rejection, and fitted it for me. She was outstanding, and recommended that I return in 3-4 weeks time and if I wish she can replace with another bar that I liked.. I will be back and can’t recommend this studio enough.. fab jewellery, fab service and experienced staff.. thank you again x

Excellent staff and service.Got my nose pierced today.Given numbing cream beforehand.Manager kindly gave me a beautiful silver ring with a feather when I told her I had lost my lovely sister in August. Won't forget her kindness and can't wait to go back and give her my custom. Xx
